Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

2)Submit it with Line Activation Date for this line if it is an added line to existing account in 2nd order
3)Submit it with Order Date of First Order if it is an added line to existing account in 2nd order

Edited:
4) submit it with Account Activation Date for this line if it is an added line to existing account in 2nd order and only if Account Activation Date is different from Order Date of First Order

2) and 3) are contradictory.
4) makes no sense because if the line was added to an existing account then it doesn't have its own Account Activation Date.

EDITED: Also, the rebate site doesn't ask for Activation Date (account or line). It asks for Purchase Date, which I take it to mean the Order Date.

To get it an example, order 1st order on 4/1 and new account created on 4/1, order 2nd order on 4/7 to this existing account, activate line from 2nd on 4/9.
First order date: 4/1
Account activation date: 4/1
Second order date: 4/7, the date ppl used and got Invalid
Line activation date: 4/9
I think the account activation date is not the really problem that's why I don't suggest doing so in the first time. Some ppl even added line to free 1 yr plan account or SWAC account, so account activation date is different from order date, and they are not getting invalid as now. (Which seems kind of weird to me because they are customers awhile ago)

"After 5-7 days, I'll check it again. If it still gets Invalid Activation Date, I'll resubmitted a 3rd time using the activation date of the account (not line 3). If that still doesn't cure the error, then it means an add-on doesn't qualify, despite what the sales/chat rep said, and I'll cancel that line."
Quoting from you,
If you believe ppl should be using order date then why you are saying to resubmit using activation date if reject with invalid again? This is a trial and test process, thats why ppl here suggested to order all lines in one order...

Service Date begins when first line is activated and ends 1 month later, they bill you in advance, so first bill date is one day before you activated your line #1.
For example, you activated line #1 on 4/2, service period will be 4/2 to 5/1, and first bill date is 4/1

Here are my facts:
* Acct 1, line 1: ordered online & activated on 3/14.
* Acct 2, line 2: ordered online & activated 3/24. I just put it here so people won't ask what happened to line 2.
* Acct 1, line 3: ordered by phone & activated 3/27. I used 3/27 as Purchase Date on the rebate claim. It got Invalid Activation Date.
So, tell me which date is the correct date to use as Purchase Date when resubmitting my rebate claim for Line 3. Again, during the claim process, it only asks for ONE date (Purchase Date) on the very first screen when you go to sprint.com/offers and select promo 300BYOD313.

This morning I resubmitted a claim for my Line 3, which is an add-on to acct #1 and has Invalid Activation Date on the 1st submission. I check the resubmitted claim on Rebateshq and of course right now it shows everything missing, as below:
Missing Is Delinquent
Missing Account Sub Type
Missing Mobile Number Status
Missing Mobile Number Type
Missing Account Status
Missing Activation Date
Missing Account Type
Missing Channel Code

After 5-7 days, I'll check it again. If it still gets Invalid Activation Date, I'll resubmitted a 3rd time using the activation date of the account (not line 3). If that still doesn't cure the error, then it means an add-on doesn't qualify, despite what the sales/chat rep said, and I'll cancel that line.
after one day, my latest one is:

Missing Is Delinquent
Missing Account Sub Type
Missing Mobile Number Status
Missing Mobile Number Type
Missing Account Status

Missing Activation Date
Missing Account Type
Missing Channel Code

For line #3, did your order it on 3/27?

I see that you have no problem with line #1, line #2, but problem with line #3, I recommend to use the date you used for line#1 for line #3 since they are under the same account and line #1 is so far so good

If you tried everything and still getting Invalid, then it isn't qualified being an add-on line to existing account with active line

1. Can different phones be activated on the line once the rebate is submitted for?
2. Can new phones be bought as an upgrade through Sprint, Best Buy, etc... once the rebate is submitted for?

The status using the link in the email from Sprint still shows Pending. The status check using the link in post #6873 provides a lot more details. http://www.rebateshq.com/promocen...track.html [rebateshq.com]

If you have multiple rebate submissions, use the option to look up by name and zip code. It'll show all of them, then you can click on each one to see its details.
Anybody know what *Missing Channel Code means. My other account that and was submitted at an earlier date does not show that code. Or just ignore it.?

For line 3, I called in on 3/27, the sales rep created the order, I already had the new phone with SIM in it, so it was activated at the same time.
If I resubmit the claim for line 3 again, I'll use 3/14 for its Purchase Date. I said Activation Date in my earlier post because in my case it's the same as the Order Date (for acct 1, line 1).
Like I said, if it still fails with the 3/14 date, my suspicion is that an add-on line (on a later date) to an existing account doesn't qualify, despite what the reps said.

I will do nothing to these lines, don't upgrade or even update/swap sim/phone. once lines are ported in and active, changing anything to these lines could risk your rebate

I submitted 5 rebates for my 5 lines.

2 lines were ported in from Lycamobile. I fully expect to get the rebate for these 2 lines. These lines have status:
Missing Channel Code

2 lines were ported out + ported in from Sprint free plan within 2 weeks (do not expect rebates) & 1 line ported in from a VOIP provider (not sure about rebate). These lines have status:
Missing Is Delinquent
Missing Account Sub Type
Missing Account Type
Missing Channel Code

So for those who get status other than "Missing Channel Code", it may be a sign that the rebate may not be approved.
