Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Ppl have contacted sprint sales/promo team, and were told that sprint uses activation date of 4/9/20 being deadline to determine qualification for rebate. Sprint rebate contact 844-382-3312, call to see if they can anything, ask if they take resubmission by email or mail paper resubmission than online submission.
Reach rebate processor at 877-276-0853 if they offer email resubmission for the $300 promo. Rebate processor offers paper resubmission option with info below.
RebatesHQ Processing
Resubmission Department
P.O. Box 540156
El Paso, TX 88554-0156
Be sure to include your name, address, phone number, promotion name and tracking number.
If sprint is no help.
Complain to BBB. If still no help,
You may doing paper resubmission to rebate processor as your last resort
1)Track rebate status on rebate processor site using tracking number for the line with Invalid Activation Date, print it out with tracking number showed, repeat if you have multiple lines with Invalid result
2) A print out of term details for sprint $300 promo rebate
3)Print out every page of the blank rebate registration form as you were (re)submitting the rebate(to prove that only order date matters as long you activate with 10 days)
4) Print out of order confirmation email with order date 4/9/20 or $300 is attached.
5)citing order summary has stated 10 days to activate line
6)finally explain your situation such as I ordered before 4/9/20, activated within 10 days, but rebate is invalid, say will take legal action again Sprint. (Don't tell rebate processor sprint rep insists that you rebate is invalid b/c it activated after 4/9/20)

promo name is "Bring your own phone $300 Port-in Offer, 3/13/20-4/9/20. New customers bringing their own device & porting a number to Sprint can receive a $300 Prepaid MasterCard with eligible plan
In addition to the required info on the post above, also your sprint account number, and eligible mobile numbers

I'm not sure if it is worth the hassle b/c you may still not getting anything for doing those. Cancel before 30 days for your back money.

So now they are saying activation date had to be by the 9th and not the purchase date is as stated by them before?
So the rebates will be denied?
it's pretty cut and dry from the sprint promo website that purchase date has to be 4/9

On my Sprint bill, I see a charge: Equipment - Software $2.99. What is this? I was already charged for the sim (3.18).
Dispute this with online chat

They'll put the 2.99 sim charge on your bill -- you should also have a payment you made on there as well (3.18 in your case)

I bought 2x LG phones separately (52.06 each w/ tax) -- my Recent Payments shows:
Payment on Apr 06 - thank you! -$52.06
Payment on Apr 09 - thank you! -$52.06

They'll bill the 2x phones to my monthly bill and apply the 2x payments as credit

Per promo term details. Cut off SHOULD BE order date. But sprint is really not following their terms.

it's the sim.

on your bill you'll also see you paid for it with a -$2.99 that offsets the $2.99.

I would suggest submitting the contact form about the "Invalid Activation Date" error to the appropriate executives. I would start with the Senior VP of Customer Care.

Thank you so much for this explanation. I've been chatting with an agent for half an hour and he has no idea what is going on. Waste of time.

Thanks it's weird though that they didn't line up the charges. $3.18 and $2.99 were confusing.

I don't think anything is gained by submitting more details TO REBATESHQ. The main issue is whether Purchase/Order Date or Activation Date is the deciding date. The decision BY SPRINT appears to be Activation Date. Sprint looks up the activation date of a line, and either passes that date or Invalid Activation Date decision to Rebateshq. I don't think Rebateshq makes that decision. Submitting all the details to them won't change a thing. If anything is to be changed, it has to be made by Sprint's Rebate Dept.

That would make more sense than trying to submit email/printed forms to Rebateshq.

Sorry if this has already been asked. I ordered 5 phones in which 4 lines are activated, there is one line still pending/porting-in. Should I register for the promo asap/today or wait until all 5 lines are activated?

No argument from me on that point. But this is what myyueng posted in post #7445 "Ppl have contacted sprint sales/promo team, and were told that sprint uses activation date of 4/9/20 being deadline to determine qualification for rebate".
