Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

If you activated after 4/9, I would suggest taking up on the 30day satisfaction guarantee thing, get the refund and move on. Not sure if it is worth all the headaches and lost time.

Can I know where it mentions Sprint will refund fully within 30 days?

I was wondering if it is worth contacting them via Sprint Facebook/Twitter page. Anyone tried?

I don't think anything is gained by submitting more details TO REBATESHQ. The main issue is whether Purchase/Order Date or Activation Date is the deciding date. The decision BY SPRINT appears to be Activation Date. Sprint looks up the activation date of a line, and either passes that date or Invalid Activation Date decision to Rebateshq. I don't think Rebateshq makes that decision. Submitting all the details to them won't change a thing. If anything is to be changed, it has to be made by Sprint's Rebate Dept.
I believe this is the rebate processor to validate your info once, sprint passes info and rebate rules to them, they follow rules to validate, I think it makes no sense to sending paper resubmission to rebate submission too. But ppl can try if they really want the $300 rebate....it really depends on the person who reviews the info...contacting BBB is much helpful than doing this if sprint cares about their BBB rating

No argument from me on that point. But this is what myyueng posted in post #7445 "Ppl have contacted sprint sales/promo team, and were told that sprint uses activation date of 4/9/20 being deadline to determine qualification for rebate".
Many DP of Ppl activated after 4/9/20 got Invalid Activation Date...

The activation fee is waived during ordering.
Even if not waived, For new lines activating on or after April 5th, 2019, we'll let you try out Sprint for 30 days, and if you aren't 100% satisfied, we'll refund your service charges in addition to your device costs covered under our standard Sprint Satisfaction Guarantee. Simply return your device in good working condition and undamaged to your original place of purchase and contact us to deactivate service within 30 days of activation, and Sprint will refund your service charges (including any monthly recurring charges, Activation Fee, and all associated taxes and fees).

I tried to chat with Sprint but seems useless for most part. One agent said will have supervisor call back tomorrow to see if the$10 unlimited plus credit can be added back. Online agent said if downgrade to unlimited basic, then it would be 5 lines $100. However, I am worried that the change of service plan might potentially impact the $300 rebate even though it shouldn't

I would suggest submitting the contact form about the "Invalid Activation Date" error to the appropriate executives. I would start with the Senior VP of Customer Care.
Marci Carris and her executive team usually solves this kind of problems. You can email or better tweet her, say everything in a nice way and provide your facts and evidences so she doesn't need to go back and forth. Let us know what the result is.

So doing this wont break my card deal?
Why would it? It makes no difference, there's nowhere in the terms that says you have to keep the same phone activated the whole time

you have been reading the posts?..right?

i dont think anyone can guarantee you of anything at this point.

my advice: best is not to do anything that will jeopardize your $300.

others may disagree.
Why would changing devices jeapordize the promotion? Don't you think they would have specified such in the terms if that was an issue? Furthermore, what kind of asinine contention is that in the first place. You have an active line of service, on a device, that you brought to the network, either way. It's active the whole time. No reason to not change devices if one wants to, unless they are wearing a tinfoil hat
