Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Sprint upper mgnt knows the $10 discount billing issue and promises they will look at it and correct it soon. (The one who gets the $50 credits now may benefit by additional $50 from this when they backscript their system if they apply $50 credits again)
But no favorable result for the $300 rebate yet.
I believe downgrading from u+ to basics makes no difference on your rebate status since basics plan also is an eligible plan.
But changing your phone/line/account after they are active on sprint will. Because new changes were entered in sprint system after 4/9/20. Sprint will response negatively to everything that is entered in their system post 4/9/20. Such as invalid rebate status or no $10 discount per line. Just my insight(can't confirm it)
Edit:
Strongly recommend not to change anything to your account. Because if your rebate is denied and you ask why, the sprint rep will just use b/c you change blah-blah as an excuse for your rebate denial.
hopefully sprint will response positively to the complaints they received.(though I don't have any problems with them yet)

I just hope his group is still there after 30 days or at least until this bill & rebate issue is resolved!
The screen captures we have clearly say the Purchase Date needs to be by April 9 and we all made the move to Sprint with the assumption that we will be getting the rebates. We are not getting the product and service they promised so I don't think credit card companies would deny the disputes. Actually the fear of mass credit card disputes might make them act and change the guidelines to the rebate processor before it gets to that point.
My hard-learned guidance would be to follow up within a few days, if you don't see in your account, not wait a month, because then they'll say wait another month, all the while prolonging your service and required payments to Sprint.

The supervisor and Customer Advocay CSR both said my accounts look like the other one, but have no clue why there's no discount.
Both also said I should be receiving the rebates and to call them back if there are issues.
