Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

For those of you who have 4 typical missing line items on rebate status
did you get your rebate status changed to Missing Channel Mode only after you paid your first month's bill off?

I feel like that either sprint only sends info once at the beginning or the rebate processor only validate it once rebate is submitted. Probably it is better to pay your first bill before submitting rebate...(debating to submit my rebate one more time if my paid status is not updated in rebate processor site

Did you check all 3 credit reports? Could be delay for a few days to show on credit report or when the service is activated
Edit:
Or have a previous relationship with T-Mobile before?
I've checked all 3 of her credit files. The credit check step is during the ordering process. I have alert services on both her account and mine. We'll get INSTANT alert from multiple credit monitor services whenever there's a hard inquiry. We never had a relationship with T-mo before.

Anyway, if someone wants to continue discussing the T-mo deal, let's use its own thread:

With my line 1, I activated on 3/14, submitted rebates on 3/15, first bill was auto-paid on 4/6. Its status only had Missing Channel Code. Payment was made more than 2 weeks AFTER rebate submission date.

Subject: Invalid Activation Date

Purchase: 4/9, no credit + Pixel 3 XL, kickstart
Activation: 4/13 with eSIM
Rebate: 4/14.
My two cents on this: chatted with a CSR, explained everything that was going on, rebate status at rebateshq, told that a few colleagues did not have "Invalid Activation Date" and CSR created a new tracking assuring me that it will work (saved the transcription). I will check tomorrow the status of the new tracking on rebatehq and provide the updates here.

Activation means do we need to switch on the phone or once porting is done, it means activation is done?

I have had only Missing Channel since I first checked RebatesHQ on Apr 11—even though my first payment (auto-pay), only happened yesterday Apr 15. I ordered and activated in March.

I am not overly concerned with Missing Channel, since I have previously automatically been paid out non-Sprint rebates with this status.

You paid before 4/9/20. Rebate processor may not starting to validate existing rebates before 4/9/20. If my rebate status remains intact by 5/10/20, I will submit again.

Since your first bill is due 4/6/20, you second bill should be due 5/7/20 before the submission deadline, please keep us updated when your second bill comes out. I'm curious if you get Missing is Delinquent back in rebate status when you have a balance due again....

Repped for keeping the pressure. The more of us that contact Sprint, the greater likelihood of getting early clarity on this key decision point for many!

Your dp confirmed my idea that if the reviewer/processor of your rebate is not careful enough he may mark your rebate as invalid even if you have all the correct info submitted(line 3 account 1 of hpham_53 as an example) or he will let rebates go through even they are not qualified. They also process rebates for Bed bath beyond. I once got my supposed rebate amount x2 ($15 BBB GC for a $100+ GC purchase, which BBB explains via email that ppl should only get $15 even if your purchase is >$200) but I got $30 GC for $200 purchase. They have this mistake for 2 yrs straight though I only participated last year.

I have 4 tracking numbers (3 lines + 1 resubmission). All of them show Pending on Sprint tracker site, regardless of how "clean" or "messy" their statuses are on Rebateshq site.

To those who took the $35 kickstart plan with auto-pay, when was your credit card charged by Sprint after you activated your SIM? I choose the autopay when I ordered the SIM on 4/9 with one credit card, but I am thinking to switch to another credit card for the autopay. Do I have enough time to do the card change? Or will Sprint charge my CC at the moment I activate the SIM? Also will change the payment card cause any issue for the $300 rebate?
