Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

One more thing, even though chat rep told that for upgrading to plus, it's $10/line, however my bill doesn't show extra charges. So both basic and plus are same price.

I personally went for it.
But before converting, check the terms. I am not sure within how many days you can apply for CU/Walgreens, as I remember someone said that we have to apply within 30 days, so before converting to Credit check (if you thinks it's worth), cross verify terms.

I figure this is the way to understand the bill,
There are two sets of dates, one is for billing cycle, one is for service cycle.
Postpaid carriers bill one month in advance for current service period, but give 24 days to pay for the service after bill is generated.
for service cycle lasting from May 3rd to June 2nd, its billing cycle is April 3rd to May 2nd, Payment due date is May 26th, 24 days after billing cycle's end date.
So basically it is paying the service days of 5/3/20 to 6/2/20 on 5/26/20
(Billing you one month in advance for current service period, postpaid= pay after you used service)
Sprint only tells billing cycle, unless you make changes to plan.
So first bill is for first service period second bill is second service period. They are not charging the first month of service twice.
4/3-5/2 first service cycle
5/3-6/2
6/3-7/2
7/3-8/2 4th service cycle, bill is available on 7/6 with billing cycle dated 6/3 to 7/2, due on 7/26
If cancel service within the 4th service period(7/3 to 8/2) final bill with billing cycle dated 7/3 to 8/2 will have a balance due of $0 because this billing cycle covers service period from 8/3 to 9/2.

Says final processing. How many approx days will it take for the rebate arrive?
So, going through credit check for additional $200 wasn't worth it. I'd rather not have my SSN at all with them.
Plus, as others said, most likely at this point you'll not receive $200 immediately, only in one year. Big NO! (Sprint won't be around in one year...).
