Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Yes I waited much longer than 24 hours to refer family members. One thing I may have done wrong is to finish the referral after placing the order but before activation. I'm not sure but I may have done this on the 3 unsuccessful referrals.

Anyone think it's a bad idea to inquire about the unsuccessful referrals? Or just keep quiet so I don't attract attention to these accounts?

I am sure that was Marci's team since I used Marci's email address. No regular CS mail included on my mail thread. U Premium charges applied on two lines which was wrong. They corrected and confirmed me that next month will be normal with 1UP and 2 UBasic.

It doesn't matter how many lines an account has, each account can only receive one referee reward, and the referrer only gets one reward for that account.

Interesting because Marci's Twitter shows she is retired from that role now. Maybe the team is back in action after forwarding issues to regular customer service for a while. That's good news then if this team is working again.

True. IMO, if any billing issues, instead of spending several hours on call with CS, it is better to send mail with full details to Marci's mail address. Sprint Sr.Vice President - Customer Service Team is really active and fixing the issues soon.

Here's the correct sequence:
1. The referrer sends/gives the link.
2. The referee uses the link to pre-register with their name and email address.
3. The referee opens an account and adds a line or more. Only one line per account qualifies.
4. After the account is active and phone number activated, the referee clicks on the same link and finishes the registration with phone number.

If those steps were done out-of-sequence or incorrectly, that referral will get disqualified.

Thats really weird.. How can 5 people not fulfilling their requirements.. If it would have been half success and half not then was good.. And i referred after more than 24hrs of my opening of acct..
One thing i have two accts one on my name and one on spouse name on same address but we did not refer one another so should be not the reason of 5 unsuccess
Maybe ask your referees if they confirm sprint number before activating service for that number with sprint....
@cardboardbox has the same experience as you
The new site doesn't allow changes, while the legacy one allows changes such as phone number correction and referee can check status too...

Helpful instructions but now I'm pissed. Says "unsuccessful" but it is WRONG - a simple two-line setup where I accepted a referral link from a willing SDer then turned around and carefully referred my wife.

With no more "magic Marci" what is the best way to point out I was wrongly denied.

The plan was Kickstart and I was approved as a referee on the original order for my phone but denied as the referrer for my wife's phone.

Same street address is not a problem, I got a referrer reward for referring my wife.
You mentioned a two-line set up, does that mean your line and your wife's line are in the same account? If yes, that doesn't qualify. A referee has to open a new account to qualify.
