Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Go to rebateshq.com and choose tracking by your name & zip code. If your reward was processed, it should show up. Be aware that they might not be done with loading data yet.
I wonder when they load the data, daily?weekly? My other referral on same day is stuck at pending, maybe due to unpaid bill. Paid bill in advance and see if it moves over to successful.

One thing I may have done wrong is to finish the referral after placing the order but before activation. I'm not sure but I may have done this on the 3 unsuccessful referrals.
I'm pretty sure that is your issue. You needed to accept the referral BEFORE placing the order afaik. If you made that mistake with the 3 that failed, that is probably why.

Got an email today "Your reward is on it's way", checked the status of my referrals and noticed that 2 out of the 3 are unsuccessful. The 3 referrals are all family members, new to sprint, and have made payments on time for their lines. Sent an email using the Contact Us form for each referral that should have been approved. I think Sprint is going to find any way they can to make receiving any rebate/referral difficult.

Also my $300 reward shows as "Missing Is Delinquent". Not sure if that is expected..
That's a "benign" item, no worry.

If you remember whose link you used, contact that person and ask them to check their list of referees. Be sure to provide him/her with your name or initials.

We are emailing you in response to your request.

We're sorry to inform you that your referral to XXXXX XXXXXX was denied because the new Sprint phone number your friend entered during their registration on April 2, 2020 is invalid. The number entered in their profile is: XXXXXXXXXX. This number doesn't match any active Sprint accounts.

We appreciate your participation in the Sprint Referral Rewards program!

This is Sprint's attempt at pulling a fast one. The phone number that they claim does not match any records is the main contact number on my friend's Sprint account and 1 of his 5 lines. I sent a reply back asking them to check their records and approve the referral as soon as possible-pretty sure they will come up with another excuse to invalidate the referral.

Random question, can you have an account with two line son unlimited plus and three lines on basic and pay $120 a month?

I wrote out detailed step by step instructions on how to claim the referral bonus whenever I sent out my link. The steps match those below. I think the additional time meant I lost out to some of the other quicker members...but none of my referrals were denied!

Quote from hpham_53 :
Here's the correct sequence:
1. The referrer sends/gives the link.
2. The referee uses the link to pre-register with their name and email address.
3. The referee opens an account and adds a line or more. Only one line per account qualifies.
4. After the account is active and phone number activated, the referee clicks on the same link and finishes the registration with phone number.

If those steps were done out-of-sequence or incorrectly, that referral will get disqualified.

I also provided detailed instructions for my potential referees, but I saved it in a text file and it took me just seconds to copy-and-paste it to a PM then sent.

this is the exact same response I got. I figure its something weird I did since 3 of my 4 family members referrals were denied.

Yes, I initially signed up for Unlimited Basic for all 5 lines ($125 included taxes), later to jump on CU rebate, I just upgraded two lines from basic to unlimited, still i am getting $125 (including taxes)...

Do you see "your rebate has hit a speedbump..." on all your 3 rebates for $300?

Yes. I think everyone has the "hit a speedbump" message. My take is that nobody has met the 90 days in-service yet (deal began on 3/13).

Thx for the confirmation. We are one of the early birds on this. I don't want surprises after spending $500 for 4 months of service.

Thx
