Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Interesting. Have no idea how sprint processes referral rebates. My wild guess is that the person's account is not in good standing.....otherwise can't explain why the 4/19 got processed but not the 4/8....
No need to cause alarm. Your wild guess is speculative. My guess is the second bill hasn't been processed yet, but that's coming up on June 1st. So we shall see.

I have 2 questions please.

1) I signed up on March 22. When is the earliest I can port away from Sprint to still qualify for rebate?

2) My current tracking status says: "Your registration has hit a speedbump, please call us at 844-450-7865, Mon-Sat 8am-9pm Central. Missing Is Delinquent" Is this normal or a problem?

1) The line(s) must be active for at least 90 days.
2) Normal.

I wouldn't port out until the GCs have been received. Read the fine print in the screen below. "Allow 13-15 weeks from activation for Prepaid Cards to arrive. Phone must be active for 90 days and remain active and in good standing THROUGH THE CARD FULFILLMENT PROCESS (whatever that means)".

ATT offer is not that good now. It was good when it was first announced, but then they realized people were signing up for 4/5 lines to get the max benefit....

Has anyone ported from T-mobile to Sprint?

I am seeing the invalid message on rebatesHQ - "Your registration was denied because this is a port in promotion; an eligible port was not identified for the phone number registered."

Wondering if this has anything to do with the merger? Just wait for the status to change on the Sprint site before calling in?

You won't make much money with just 1 line because:
1. The cheapest voice & data plan is the Shared Data 3GB Plan and it's $50/month for 1 line, adds in about 25% in taxes & fees, let's call it $63/month.
2. It takes 45 days in-service before AT&T will send you a link to redeem the GC, and 3-4 weeks to get it. That means you'll have to pay for 3 months of service, $63 x 3 = $189.
3. If you go through one of the cb site, you'll get $50 for 1 line.
So you'll spend around $190 and get back $250 + $50 = $300, a profit of $110.

Ok?? I'm failing to see why that's a bad deal?

My options are:

A) do the AT&T deal for $110 profit
B) get TMobile for $40/month for a 3 month cost of -$120

$110 > -$120 last I checked...

Then by all means do it. For me, I don't really use the phone service so it has little value to me, and dealing with it for 3 months to get $110 isn't worth my time. To each his own.
