Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.

You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.

Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

If Sprint is going to reject GV ports, this is going to end badly for a lot of folks here.
I used some GV numbers and they are still progressing nicely, these are GV numbers that I had on my GV account for a while. If you had used fresh numbers there is no telling where they were previously. They could have been in fact project FI or Sprint numbers before. JMO

No, not on this account, just speed bump. I find it strange that someone who ordered and submitted rebate after me has had their status change before me. Hopefully thats a good sign for me... maybe I passed some validation without more errors. I do have an account with the activation date error, no movement on that one either.
You will get it eventually for the other account. 3/25 got notified on 5/30 and 3/31 got notified on 6/2, not sure if the denial notifications go by activation date or rebate submission date since these two activated and submitted the same day.

I believe GV is safe to use as port in since GV is considered landline carrier.

If a number originally from sprint is dumped on other carriers such as GV/ATT/Verizon/T-Mobile, that number will reassign back to the original carrier after the other carriers reserve the number for a period of time (in case the owner/user of that number want to reactivate the number)

Eg, you get your number from ATT, port it over to T-Mobile and then lastly port to sprint, you don't want the number anymore and ask sprint to cancel your line, sprint will reserve it for a time and then give it back to ATT, the original carrier

The $160 credit in what status? Is it in pending/verified/payable? The other person didn't say about the credits .
status is "pending investigation"

This would make sense but the issue with that one poster is that ALL 5 of his lines have a problem. So that probably means this was most likely not the case in his situation. But all we can do now is just speculate until Sprint confirms.

It was just my guess, don't take it as solid info.
No, my 4 lines are from Tracfone (ATT) and one line from Visible (Verizon)...so reason could be something else...I will speak to Sprint later in day to find the reason

All 5 lines shows invalid.
That's not good. I read your invalid reason again - "Sales location of the number you registered" ---> It is not clear to me what that means. I ported 4 numbers from visible and rebates look ok for now. I submitted the rebate on 3/19.

My wife and I had no entries in Pending on 5/25/20 (they were either Successful or Unsuccessful), but she still hasn't received her 8 $50 GCs as referrer. Nothing new on rebateshq site.

I was referred and I referred 10 others on one account, but I only got 10 $50 gc. Do you know if the $500 max includes the referee bonus? So far my emails to Sprint havent resulted in an answer from them.

I don't know if your own referee card is included in the limit of 10. But I'm not in that situation to find out. My own referee reward failed (used it after line already activated). My wife got her own referee card, but she has only 8 successes as referrer, not hitting the limit of 10.

They state the following in the Terms and Conditions

"As a referrer or referee, you can receive $50 reward for each new account activation up to $500 per calendar year. Referral rewards will be fulfilled by Prepaid Mastercard®. They will be sent to your billing address on your account.

An existing Sprint customer, or a Sprint employee, can make up to 10 referrals or earn up to $500 rewards per calendar year.

No more than twenty cards will be sent to the same physical address within a twelve month period of time."

How many approval emails did you receive?

I don't know about cardboardbox, but Sprint web site shows I have 11 successes, zero pending, and one unsuccessful. I got 11 congrats email, but so far received only 9 cards. Rebateshq shows 9 referrer cards. How many cards do you think they will send me? Sprint works in a puzzling way.
