Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Even if the person buys, he/she can't use my line since he/she won't have the SIM card for my account, even though the IMEI is registered for my number, correct?
You can track by the tracking number you got when registering, or by your name & address or phone number. The info on the Sprint web site should be similar to what Rebateshq.com shows, but Rebateshq site shows more details, often causing unnecessary worries.

In my case, rebateshq states they received my $300 submission on the 21st of March. Which would lead me to believe that I have at least another month before I receive the $300 in the mail. I don't think that I'll be getting anything until at least the beginning to middle of July.
Hang in there folks!

I think you could have done it if you had Boom Red (Verizon).
