Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

If you're asking about the Sprint $300 GC, go to https://www.sprintpromotionshub.com/#/tracker
You can track by the tracking number you got when registering, or by your name & address or phone number. The info on the Sprint web site should be similar to what Rebateshq.com shows, but Rebateshq site shows more details, often causing unnecessary worries.
Thanks. I am aware of promotionshub. I thought OP referred something like with in account dashboard.

If I sell one LG Tribute and the person inserts his/her Sprint SIM, I assume it won't work because IMEI is assigned to my number (even though the other SIM is inserted), correct?

Even if the person buys, he/she can't use my line since he/she won't have the SIM card for my account, even though the IMEI is registered for my number, correct?
Yes. Correct. If you unlocked the device after 50 days, swap the line with another Sprint capable phone and free that device from account. Once it is free from your account, it will work with any carrier.

All this hand-wringing... my best guess is at or around 90 days the $300 will be approved and then there will be the "should arrive in 30 days" status... which most of us experienced receiving within 10-15 days on the other rebates. If that is the case, most of us will probably be in our 4th month of service with payments.

In my case, rebateshq states they received my $300 submission on the 21st of March. Which would lead me to believe that I have at least another month before I receive the $300 in the mail. I don't think that I'll be getting anything until at least the beginning to middle of July.

Hang in there folks!

what alert do you set to catch these deals. Here is my ideas

("port in"|port-in|byod|byop|"bring your own phone"|"bring your own device"|"keep your own phone"|"keep your own device")(mastercard|visa|prepaid|pre-paid)

which might exclude non port in deals but the recent sprint att tmobile and verizon deals were port ins

any way to sharpen this alert ?

Yes, create 5 separate TextNow accounts and port each number to each Textnow account. Please be aware there is no data in the free plan, only calling and texting. It is a VoIP so uses Sprint data to call/text only. But it is 100% free.

Please familiarize with TextNow here before making the port: https://slickdeals.net/f/13827152-textnow-free-byop-ad-supported-unlimited-talk-text-plan-w-sim-kit-purchase-10-sprint-mvno?v=1&src=SiteSearch

When I tried to rep hpham_53, it is saying spread the rep since I repped him in Mar or Apr. Just curious to know - What is the time frame to rep the same person again?.

I had planned to port my T-mo numbers to Boom Mobile/AT&T using their $5 30-day 450-unit trial SIMs (I bought a bunch of them), but apparent you can only get new numbers with those SIMs; you need their "regular" SIMs to port in.

I think you could have done it if you had Boom Red (Verizon).

No. When I got into Boom's site to activate the SIM, it asked for the SIM number, and whether I wanted a new number or Port-In. If I selected Port-in, the CONTINUE button was gray'ed out, not clickable. If I selected New Number, then I could click on CONTINUE. I think they don't want you to use their 30-day trial SIM to park a number.
