Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Since BF & TC both already show "Verified" and have a payable date......does the Sprint account need to stay open until we get the cashback?
If the payable date is no more than 30 days beyond the billing cycle end date, my plan of action depends on the monthly bill amount vs the cb amount. If the bill amount is less than the cb amount, I'll pay one more month. If the bill amount exceeds the cb amount, I'll cancel the account and take a chance.

Did you actually get the $80 paid out, or that's just the amount shown to be paid? Quite a few people here have $400 shown in their tcb account for 5 lines.
It shows "$80 confirmed" and "Estimated Payable 8 Weeks".

DP regarding the TCB not tracking $80 CB. I filed "Missing CB claim" on March 25, about a week after the order date. Today, after more than 2 months, TCB posted this message:

"The following cb insertion has been allocated to your account, with respect to this Missing CB Claim. Please allow this to progress to 'Payable', and when happy to do so, please close this claim.
Event Date 19 Mar 2020
CB Amount $80"

Status changed to "Confirmed, payable in 8 weeks".

I think the 8 weeks at tcb is a moving target, like a restaurant that advertises FREE LUNCH TOMORROW Big Grin

I would stick with rakut** next time. I opened 2 sprint line. 1 line used rakut** and 1 line use TC. The Rakut** one was confirmed right away and got paid few weeks ago.

The problem with raku is their fixed quarterly payout dates. If you buy something at the beginning of a quarter, you won't get paid until the middle of the next quarter. That's 4.5 months.

Hope that's just a generic wording; looks like tcb puts it there regardless of how long it actually took for them to confirm a particular cb transaction.

Overall, not happy with tcb.

Better than not getting paid at all. BF and TCB have a much higher "screw you" rate

I'd rather get paid quarterly than not get paid at all which will likely be the case with BFrug. Case will still be under investigation after paying four months so do I stick with Sprint for that or cut my losses?

It all depends on your own experience. I've been using Raku since 2016 but recently had a bad experience with them. They had a refer-a-member deal when they'd pay $30 for both ends if the referee buys something $35 or more. I referred my daughter who opened an account with her own email address, made a $50 purchase and paid with her own credit card. Raku initially rewarded the referral then a few days later retracted them claiming frauds. Quite a few people on Doc of Credit reported the same problem.

Good/possibly bad (but I doubt it) news here …

After paying my Sprint bill, I had $50 x 3 + 23.52 = $173.52 remaining value on four referral gift cards. I went to Staples and bout a $200 Visa gc, and was able to drain all rebate cards. In theory, I should see a total of $8.68 credit posted on the rebate cards, as using them at Staples earns a 5% credit. Not 100% certain in this case, as I bought a gc. But if I receive it, nice bonus. I will take the Visa gc to WM tomorrow to get a MO.

After chatting with Sprint to resolve my rebate issues (or so I thought) last night, four of five are now in invalid status today ("Your registration was denied because the sales location of the number you registered is not eligible for this offer."). However, the fifth line is in final processing (w/ speedbump). Since all lines were purchased in the same manner, I am not terribly concerned.

At Sprint site, all five lines say pending.

Do you mean you you bought a $200 Visa GC with referral GCs in $173.52 balance? That's a big hole if Staple cannot catch it. $200 > $173.52.

No; the remainder of the balance was paid with my Citi MC (which earns 2% cashback).
