Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Can we partially pay our Sprint bill with a Sprint prepaid card ($50 from referral)?
I used three of my $50 referral gcs to pay my second (and hopefully final) Sprint bill.

How do you manage to have paid only 2 bills so far? I activated my 1st line on 3/13, and have autopaid bills on 4/6, 5/6, and 6/6.
My first bill covered almost two months.

Just got my $200 Walgreens card. What to use it for now? Anything good at Walgreens worth going there?
Look at post #9380. Although another person (YamahaRick) couldn't buy Amazon GCs at his Walgreens store using Walgreens GCs.

I tried and tried to find something at WG at a decent price - and could not find a thing.

I ended spending about $125 on vitamin supplements. They had a BOGO or BO get another at 50% off sale last week.

Some of their prices were so high, I was shocked.

Yes; gcs would have been my first choice, but I got shot down at multiple stores. I'm happy for those that were able to get them.

Regular prices at Walgreens and CVS are 30 to 50% higher than other grocery stores. But if use their sale, coupons, rewards, you can get best prices more often than not.

I buy these GC (not just the ones we are getting as rebates) at Staples when they have no fee promo like this week. I buy 2-3k worth of these cards and get 15000 points/miles. I then load these cards onto BB at Walmart. You can only load about $1k per day on BB.

I use BB Bill Pay service to pay taxes and tuition (or anything else) without fee. I pay medical bills as well. Essentially 5% CB on almost every bill I pay. I used these cards directly as well. Pay home/car insurance. I buy MOs sometimes and deposit into my bank. Need to be careful depositing too many MOs in the bank that u use regularly.

The discussion about BB was in general and in broader sense than just these rebates.
These are all Metas though look around and if you're comfortable enough with MCGCs some have success loading BB/Serve. Blackhawk is truly massive now that they own the gift cards, back the gift cards, issue merchant gift cards, and have gotten into gift card incentive processing.

Question: How do you deal with ZIP code issues? I'm trying to add an Amex to BB, but get the error 'Sorry, it looks like the account number or the zip code you entered is incorrect (you may need to enter a 5 or 9 digit zip code number). Please try again." The workaround is adding the biller manually, but it now shows up as taking quite a few more days for payment delivery. An Amex added the normal way takes 5 days (my experience has been 2 days or less), while the 2nd Amex added the manual way says it takes 10 days for the check to be generated and mailed.

I just signed up with BB, so am not familiar with their Bill Pay service. But can't you go to the merchant's web site and enter your BB card to make a payment, instead of having BB generating/mailing the check to pay the merchant?

I managed to get 1 $500 visa & 1 $500 mastercard using my $800 Walgreens gift cards & $200 Sprint referral gift cards from the 1st Walgreens I went to.
They said they couldn't do 2 visa gift cards but I could buy 2 different ones.
I would give it a shot at least, if I were you.

You can "push" payments into BB/Serve (e.g. direct deposit) but never "pull" from it (Pre-authorized payment, etc.)

Hey guys, apologies in advance for the length.

So I'm in something of a bind. Apparently the BYOD dreamliner will reach its final destination on 6-10, tomorrow, and the 15 mo. gravy train will grind to a screeching halt. If I take no action my bill goes from $10 to $100, forthwith. This seems like a rather rude gesture on Sprint's part given how low-maintenance I've been for the last 15 months, but you know what they say about all good things.

Two developments, have complicated my dilemma. Firstly, as I type this, I'm desperately trying to avoid becoming a creditor in bankruptcy proceedings. Fortunately I've already begin a process that I hope will make me whole or near whole before things get ugly . . . but it means I have to keep my current number and it has to be operable 24/7, I can't take a chance on being unreachable. Secondly, the T-Mobile starter kits I bought for . 99 have gone missing! Since Amazon no longer offers same-day delivery, it's unlikely that I will be able to procure sim cards for either T-Mobile or Mint Mobile before the end of the week. And actually, since I can't stomach paying $11 or $12 each for T-Mobile's starter kits when I know three are sitting around here somewhere, Mint Mobile 1-year prepaid for $240.00 ($20 mo. 8GB 4G LTE) is my probable new destination. That's not getting done before 6-10. No worries if Sprint doesn't try to stick me for the whole month at the shark rate.

Here's what I'm wondering though . . . I'm under the impression Sprint is very flexible with BYOD clients, and rather than losing them to another carrier are likely to simply push back the date so they can have another go at me later on. Does that seem plausible, or am I dreaming? Am I panicking unnecessarily? Kickstarter is not a viable option, unless they want to throw me the $300 gift card and cash back.

Guess I'm just wondering if I'm missing anything? Are there better options that let keep my current number?

You guys are awesome, I've learned so much in here, thanks in advance Smilie

Let's say you have a bill due with your insurance company and they accept payments with credit/debit cards, can't you go to their web site and make a payment with your Bluebird card, instead of using BB Bill Pay service to have them generate/mail a check?

Just get your sprint account number and pin ready and port it to your preferred new carrier and pay the service fee. Personally I won't lock myself into a annual plan of $240 before testing the network. Some ppl try to port out before the free 1 yr plan ends and back to sprint via Bestbuy to lock in the $25 Kickstarter plan for Unlimited everything on the soon-to-be-tmobile network (new SSN required if you want it immediately or 45 days after account termination with old SSN)

For easy port out and port back, the current cheapest option is Ultra mobile $3 pay as your go (the previous T-Mobile $3 plan but now is outsourced to Ultra) with $10 top up required(I believe this company either owns mint or they are sister companies) the down side is you need to do it in store
Or port to T-Mobile prepaid for $15 per month capped $2GB data and is available for the next 3-5 years

Try on T-Mobile network with Ultra/T-Mobile prepaid before buying the mint $240 plan if you can't get the .99 SIM card on time

HIH

Btw, What is the T-Mobile .99 sim kit? Did you mean the sim kit for mint?

I recently paid my water bill that was added manually. It appeared that the bill was sent out a couple of days after I requested payment. If the payment date is near, I would use different method to avoid late payment fees and try it out for next month when u have more than 3 weeks or so just to see how long it actually takes. It took 2 weeks to clear my water bill...but that was bcoz of city offices were under staffed due to cv19 and they had many bills piled up.
