Prepaid cards can be used to buy the equivalent Walmart gift cards to use for merchandise, groceries or gas. People also buy Amazon gift cards and put the money on their Amazon accounts. If you do a lot of online purchase it is easy to liquidate this without losing money. We can use the cards also to pay for our Sprint bill. We can do it in the my Sprint app and you can choose the amount you want to pay. Great if we have money leftover after we use the card to purchase other items.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

* Acct #1: credit check, line 1 activated on 3/13, line 3 activated on 3/27. Sprint put them on the same bill after some partial billing. Billing period is from the 14th to the 13th of the following month. Autopaid on 4/6, 5/6, 6/6. The 4th billing period will start on 6/14, autopaid on 7/6.
* Acct #2: no cc, line #2 activated on 3/23. Bill period is from the 24th to the 23rd of the following month. Autopaid on 4/16, 5/16, and will be on 6/16.
* Line 1 has speedbump message and nothing else.
* Lines 2 and 3 have speedbump message and Missing Is Delinquent.
Since my lines were activated not at the same time, I want to wait and see how things will play out. If I call, it's unlikely that the rep will resolve and expedite all 3 lines to the finish. That means I'll have to call again some time later.
I think the speedbump message will be automatically resolved or ignored, because EVERY rebate claim has it (unless a rep manually removed it). It wouldn't make sense that everyone will need to call in to get it removed.
The Missing Is Delinquent is a mystery. It's not related to paying the bill because each account had paid the bill several times already. It's not related to credit-check or not, because my lines 1 and 3 are in the same credit-check account, but line 1 is clear and line 3 has the Delinquent message.
Sprint works in a mysterious way.
BTW, because it takes 90 days to meet the service requirement, and at least a few days to get the rebate approved, I think most people will be into the 4th service period when the approval is made. Once you're into the 4th service period, I don't see how you can avoid paying the 4th bill even though the bill isn't generated immediately at the start of a service period. If you cancel after the service period has started but before the bill is available/due, I think Sprint will still charge your card for it.

lets see if YamahaRick gets rest of his lines approved since 2 of his lines have speed bump and missing is delinquent removed...but is not validated yet

Went to Staples yesterday to try to buy the $200 no-fee Visa gift card (current Staples promo for this week), but stock was cleared out. Or maybe the Staples employees hid them? So I bought 4x$50 Amazon gift cards instead, and should be getting 5% cash back for swiping my $50x4 referral cards ($10).
Right after I swiped my first $50, I told the cashier I had 3 more of the $50 gift cards. Cashier was caught off-guard, called over the manager. Most likely I was not allowed to buy gift cards with prepaid gift cards. The manager confirmed my suspicion, said this was not allowed, so I asked if I can get a refund on the first $50 gift card that was swiped. The manager pondered a good five minutes, uncertain and unsure how to proceed, so he said to just process the remaining 3x$50 referral cards and to "not do it again next time."
Originally I wanted to get the $200 no-fee Visa (then buy MO and deposit MO to bank), and also the 5% cash back, but oh well. Seems like buying gift cards with prepaid cards are very YMMV (this was the Staples in Huntington Beach, CA)
Not the best deal but worked out for me in the end. I was planning on buying something on Amazon anyway.
I sent over an inquiry in the referral Contact Us page, this was their response:
Hi [my name],
We are emailing you in response to your request.
Thanks for checking on the status of your Sprint Referral Reward.
Your referral to [mom's name] is currently being reviewed. Once activation is verified, we'll update your Referral History online and notify you by email if you qualify for the $50 Reward Card(s).
Go to sprint.com/referral for more program information.
We appreciate your participation in the Sprint Referral Rewards program!
so a non-answer. lol. I will keep waiting and posting updates as they go.
Reached out to Marci's team earlier this week, got a call back from the Sprint Advocacy Team today. Rep confirmed my issue regarding not having received my $50 referral card and my mom not receiving hers. Rep said he will forward my concern over to the Promotions team and will personally call me back by end of this week or early next week.
I tried paying my 3rd month way in advance (like over a week ago) and it still hasn't cleared. So, it must be a timed check later on.
FWIW, I work in IT (used to be a dev) and that logic is plausible from a design perspective. It's bad UI/CX that they make it display that on the website though. They either don't expect normal customers to be reading that stuff or they just don't care that their UI is crap. Lots of pure IT people are bad at user-facing design.
