Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

One other "interesting" thing about that MyPrepaidCenter card is that they put my first name as both the first AND last name on the card.
I called the 844 number to ask about the other two. He took my info and promised to call back. If I don't hear from him, I'll call again in the morning.
Doubtful, but it sure would be nice to receive the cards by Saturday.
Only pieces of the puzzle remaining for me are two remaining $300 cards and $400 BF payment (scheduled 26 June).
[added] Oops, forgot about two missing $50 referral cards. I'm not optimistic about those.

Short Story: I bought a $300 money order at Dillons (Krogers) with six $50 GCs and paid $0.88 for the fee.
Long Story: I went to Walmart. Got there at 8:35pm and they had closed at 8:30pm. Duh! Not wanting to waste a trip, I stopped at the local Dillons. Asked the nice lady at the C.S. counter if I could buy a money order with Prepaid Mastercards. She said "Yes, as long as they're debit cards and you have the PINs for them". I told her I wanted to buy a $300 m.o,, she keyed in $300 then I swiped the cards and entered the PINs, one at a time. The balance due went down $50 each time I swiped a card. The first 4 cards went fine but the 5th one kept getting declined due to invalid PIN. Good thing I brought a couple of extra cards, so I swapped the bad card with another one. After using six "full" cards, I used the $1 left on one card to pay the $0.88 fee. Thanked the nice lady and left the store.
On the way home, I stopped at my bank's ATM machine and deposited the $300 m.o. into my checking account. Mission Accomplished.

Never got a callback this evening. It was too close to quitting time I guess. The guy certainly did not convey any energy towards doing his job.
Ditto on the congrats. Now you have an outlet for the $300 cards you will receive soon.
If not, then it is a guess. And I'm not the only one here that think you guess at stuff too much. The problem is sometimes you present it like it is a fact and when it is wrong, people are confused.
They fail even if it is a one time payment because the retailer is classified as having monthly payments and some card vendors just block them all.
How do I know? Because unlike you, I have actually tried. Tried to make a one time payment at ebay (seller fees) and Optimum with a TCB card and some other places... DENIED....due to recurring payment.
It will reject the transaction if you are trying to pay a balance > the balance on the card and keep in mind some online merchants do $1 test charge... all the merchants will deny the payment even you go over by $0.01. Ask merchants to split payment and pay exactly the remaining balance that the card has for in store purchases.
Where are the places that you failed to use the cards?
I would use the name on the card as the cardholder's name...
