Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.

You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.

Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Whenever I call they say your account is noted but they dont do anything - they tell me to wait until July 24th... How do I get them to update the status ??? (missing deliquent and activation date errors). I'm calling the phone number posted on the rebateshq site in the error msg
I've called 3 times and chatted twice over the past two weeks about the " invalid activation date". I don't think the worthless reps at Sprint have done anything because rebateshq still shows the same info.

I agree. One of my lines is a Sprint phone bought new on HSN. I activated on 3/27, initially it was denied due to Invalid Activation Date (I filed another claim) but now it's changed to sales location not eligible.
Both lines on the same acct have this issue? The other line on a diff acct is ok? Thx

I bought a SIM card from sprint when I activated a new line and still received denied status today. So I think it's something else, not because of sims purchased from best buy
More reason to worry it seems. 90th day is coming up mid week next week for me.

Acct #1 has line 1 and line 3. Line 3 was activated on 3/27 so it hasn't reached Judgment Day yet. Right now it just shows Speedbump and Missing Is Delinquent.

Acct #2 has line 2, activated on 3/23, so it hasn't reached Judgement Day either. Right now it just shows Speedbump and Missing Is Delinquent.

Well, here is my good/bad/worse news update for the day:

1. Informed Delivery e mail from USPS at 0721 hrs this morning showed I was getting three rebate cards. Good, as I can use them at Staples tonight to buy fee free Visa gcs.

2. Actually only received two of three … I'll give it till Monday for a resolution.

3. After call yesterday, according to Sprint website, one of my rebates went from pending to Denied! (Invalid sales channel) So from now on, I will find it hard to believe what the CS folks tell me on the phone.

Looks like I'll be spending more time on the phone today.

I've been using the 844 number as seen on the rebateshq.com site. Is there a better number I should be using??

Thanks. If the rep did what he/she claimed they did, the status should update on Line 1 within a few hours.

This update took place between 1:00PM yesterday and today at about 3:00PM.

I'll check again later tonight to see if there was an additional change.

I am more upset about the mail person not delivering my third rebate card.

So one of the two remaining rebates now show invalid? The other one still shows entered for final processing just like before? What a mess.

You hope that USPS didn't put one of the rebates in ur neighbor's mailbox.

Good luck.

Status change is fairly real-time based on what my friend said. They removed the speedbump and he checked the status after an hour on RHQ site and it reflected the change.

It's not the mail carrier's fault. One time the Informed Delivery showed I had a check coming, but none was delivered that day. I asked the mail carrier and he said the pictures of the mail are taken at a distribution center, not the local post office, If the mail piece didn't get delivered to the local post office before the mail carrier starts his/her route, you won't get it that day. There's a disclaimer on Informed Delivery that the mail pieces you see might not be delivered the same day it shows.

That was not my experience calling the promotions department about my referral/referee issue. They said yesterday it was "escalated" but no perceptible change on any status sites.

Fourth attempt to fix this issue - hope fourth time is the charm.

Some people got a rep to approve their rebates early, but usually they make you wait until 13 weeks after activation to make a final decision. When was your line activated?
