Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Did you get emails this morning? Did the rebate status update after she manually updated?
The only emails I have received are when I originally submitted my requests.
Nothing on the website has updated, but I read where someone thinks its updated once a day in the afternoon.

Thanks. If the status doesn't update within 2 days, I will call them daily. I don't want wait till July 3rd and then find out that I will have to pay for more than 4 months.

I called the 855 number to request a replacement card for the missing one that should have been here last Saturday - they suggested I wait a few days more. It was confirmed that the card has not been used, so that is good.

My two remaining cards not yet validated are still in denied/pending states - I'll follow up with them on Friday (90th day) or Saturday.

I just called 844-382-3312 and got passed on to the Promo Dept. This rep read the note that was put in there by a previous rep last Sat. He then went to talk to someone and came back to tell me that my $300 GC is being denied because the offer cannot be combined with another promo and I got the referral rewards with this line. I told him that the referral rewards have nothing to do with this and Sprint is just looking for excuses to deny these $300 GCs. I told him that many people on the Internet are unhappy with these denials and are ready to file a lawsuit. He went to talk with someone again, then came back and told me they'll call me tomorrow.
If Sprint doesn't approve my $300 GCs, I'll file a complaint with the FCC and the Consumer Protection Division of our Attorney General Office. I live in Kansas which is where Sprint has its HQ. The Kansas AG loves to go after big corporations to fine them.

Here's the web site to file a complaint with the FCC. I haven't used it myself, but quite a few people on the Howard Forums Tracfone board had used it and got a call from Tracfone Executive Resolution dept just a day or two after filing a complaint with the FCC and BBB.

Does anyone have an email address for the person/team that replaced Marci at Sprint?

Updates...
I just checked my rebate on rebateshq. Status is valid on the rebate that got denied and rep re-submitted 2,3 days ago. They just updated today cuz it still showed denied yesterday. Give them 2,3 days before calling them again if your rebate is still denied

A verified corporate rep confirmed the $300 BYOD is stackable with the referral bonus while it isn't combination with other promotions that offer prepaid MasterCard.

Btw, on the offer terms only state: May not be combined with other offers.

Some reps are clueless. Try another rep and the result may be different.

Sounds like they're like FAA Inspectors. If one doesn't approve a modification you made to your plane, take it to another, until you find one that approves it. Big Grin

So absolutely no one who has met the requirements has been approved without having to contact an agent? This is getting a bit hectic

Not good sign. Last week when I called first time, I asked for the status of two new lines and she mentioned that those are approved and also she said, you didn't submit promo for first line which was KS $25 plan and moved to U+. I knew this line was not eligible for $300 promo. But she manually submitted the promo. After 10 minutes, she called from Sprint normal CS number and said first line was not eligible for this promo because you received referral on this line. At that time, this statement was new to me and didn't give attention. But it looks like that is one of the condition for $300 promo.

If it is solid validation, many of us will be impacted. No Sprint.................Please release this validation.

If only that line (that received referral) wasn't eligible for the $300 then why all other lines(not registered for the referral) also got denied?Sprint just tried to have an excuse for the denial.
