Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.

You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.

Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

If only that line (that received referral) wasn't eligible for the $300 then why all other lines(not registered for the referral) also got denied?Sprint just tried to have an excuse for the denial.
Agreed. I hope Tmobile replaces all of Sprints horrible customer service dept with a new one. Maybe Sprints is trying to keep more money in their pocket from this merger by denying all rebates?

Improve their IT department, so lines will get approved without any errors, so the customer service do not have to make up excuses.

Here's the web site to file a complaint with the FCC. I haven't used it myself, but quite a few people on the Howard Forums Tracfone board had used it and got a call from Tracfone Executive Resolution dept just a day or two after filing a complaint with the FCC and BBB.
https://consumercomplaints.fcc.gov/hc/en-us
https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ FTC too
I might file the complaints on day 91 and skip the calling

I just called the 7865 number and the lady told that the denial reason is due to the device I got and she kept saying that the rule is to either bring a phone from one of the carriers or get a phone which is purchased at full price from Sprint store to be eligible for this BYOD offer. She is going to check with her superiors and come back to me in a day.

Unfortunately, as seen during the complaint-filing process, "The FTC does not resolve individual complaints".

The reps keep coming up with new excuses.

Perhaps not for an individual but for a large amount of people something might get through

On the offer terms:

May not be combined with other offers.

(By reading this line, my understanding is not combinable with other offers that have an offer number such as the AMAZON100, or 50ATYOURDOOR1)

Most not all will have to pay 4 months on a 90 day promo

I was saying more than 4 months. If I wait till after July 3 and then they ask for another 13 business days for the cards to arrive, that will put me in the 5th billing cycle.

My activation is April 10, 4th payment due Aug 3, 5th pmt due Sep 3. July 9th my calling Sprint starts.

Anyone who can confirm, how much time does it take to receive credit in credit union account after approval email?

This is what I am thinking to do, if Sprint does not send me the bonus $300 x 4 BYOD from Tmobile and Safelink, I probably will file a class action against Sprint.
