Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

90 days from Activation. I ordered on day X, activated on X+1, submitted rebate on X+2.

Based on my timeline, it is 90 days from the activation date. Most people probably have overlapping dates and hence, can't differentiate whether it is activation or rebate submission date.
Thx, my order and activation date is 3/25, submission is 3/27. Not sure if I would be able to beat the new billing cycle starting on 6/25.

Billing cycle goes by the order date.

There is no way you will be able to avoid paying for the 4th bill.

Here's my update:

I submitted rebate request twice for same line as my 1st request gave me 'invalid activation date error' and later turned into invalid sales location. Completed 90 days on 17th June and the 2nd request also turned into invalid sales location. Gave them a call on same day and was promised that the issue has been escalated. Yesterday status of my original request (1st one) changed to 'Your registration is valid and is scheduled for final processing. Your card will be delivered within the next 10 business days.' The 2nd request still has invalid sales location.

Don't think it's worth calling again since it sounds like the 1st submission is on it's way to be approved. With all of the strange things that are happening at Sprint they may just automatically approve the 2nd submission anyway.

The submissions were for same line so I am not going to call again. What is strange though is that they approved my original submission which had turned into invalid long time back.

Edit: This does imply that they are manually approving it after escalation as otherwise my 2nd submission should have changed to approved.

Your situation is very similar to the claims for my line 3 in this post:

Yes quite similar but your situation is even more interesting as they have approved your completely different line which hasn't even completed 90 days Smilie

I know someone mentioned this before, how are you all cashing out tcb? How about getting visa card (+5%) and then purchase MO at WM so more money in bank?

That's the method I plan on using. It will help offset the cost of porting in/porting out numbers.

I just transferred the money to my Paypal account. I already have a bunch of GCs from Sprint and AT&T that I need to buy MO with. I don't need more cards.

Just tried checking out with visa card, it is virtual Frown

Amex seems physical. Any idea if that can be used at WM easily?

I would suggest checking rebateshq which gives update more faster after it is valid....if you see "up to 30 days" it means it is fulfilled....
Correct me if I am wrong but as I observed rebateshq's status has not changed since it's valid, status detail as "Your rebate is valid. Please allow up to 30 days to receive your rebate.", while Sprintpromohub's status keeps changing after it's valid, from "pending, valid, card delivered within 10 Bdays", to "in progress, valid, card delivered withiin 7 Bdays", then to "fulfilled, 5 Bdays to receive your card". Yes for now I only have physical cards. Don't know if there's difference of the wording for Virtual cards.
