Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

One more data point:

Mine was initially Denied based on the Invalid Sales Location.

I called 844-450-7865, and the person fixed it right up on the spot.

But are we sure they will approve the rebates for lines activated after 9th april?

I mean you should not be wasting 3months or 4 months payments to know at the end that those cannot be approved..
Not sure. However I do have order number when I order LG Tributes that were delivered AFTER 04/09 and that was the reason for late activation and forward all "prove" to Marci/Promo Dept and have an interaction number that was given stating that they will manually approve it once 90 days hit.

3rd bill due first week of July then following week is 90 days since activation. Will wait and see.

One useful Tip - When you call sprint support without wasting much time ask your rep to trasnfer your call to promo department.

Last week i called sprint support about invalid registration (same location error) and rep told me he is going to open a case and asked me to wait for a week. Today i tried again, same thing the rep was not able to figure out why my registration got denied. Someone mentioned promo depart in comments so i asked him can you transfer my call to promo dept and bingo, rep from promo dept was able to process the registration and told me i will get electonic card in 5 days, i choose not to use physical card option because it had ETA of 13 business days and i was going to convert it to amazon gift card anyway. Hope this helps someone.

My phone of the BYOD promotion died. I switched its sim and number to use on a new phone from a newly added line. I kept all the lines. Is that going to invalidate the rebate? I tried to repair the old phone, but it was just too old to repair.
How many lines did you have?

You still have the original numbers on your account that you ported?

If yes, then you should be ok.

Don't bother calling Sprint support, all they do is screening callers. Call the Promo dept directly at 844-450-7865.

Yes. I ordered on 3/23, activated 3/25 and my BF payment est. date was 6/22 (today) I think. $125 because I purchased a Pixel 3XL. Plus $10 because I just signed up for BF.

I checked today and it was payable so I requested a GC.
Mine should also be payable but it is showing verified only

No nothing yet.. As we are still almost 20-21days away from completing 90days so my friend did not contact anybody.

I swapped a phone on one of my lines for another BYOD phone. Received $300 for that line today.

That is good to know. When you swap, did you go online to reactive the sims? I could not do it and had to call Sprint to reactive both sims.

Yes, did it online through my Sprint account. Old sim was not compatible with my newly activated BYOD phone, so it's a different phone with different sim on that line now. Original phone is dead.

It is good to see most, if not all, are getting what they had expected.

This Sprint rebate has been long and arduous, but the payoff has been just as fantastic for many of us. Referrals, Cash Back, and $300 GC (per line).

The deal high is now wearing off as payoff is coming in. Time to move onto the next SlickDeal.
show me our next deal!

Last Friday, getting frustrated with lack of result from my repeated calls to Sprint Promo dept, I sent them an email. They responded within a few minutes with a case number. Today they sent me the attached email.
If you have a complicated case and need to clearly explain the details to them, and optionally attach supporting documents/receipts, try sending them an email to [email protected] . Include in your email your full name, email address, Sprint phone number for the line involved, activation date, reward tracking number, etc.

If we use the virtual $300 GC to get an Amazon GC, other than buying items on Amazon, are there cash out or buying normal Visa/MC GC options?
Quote from Genghis_Khan :
If you shop or gas up at Walmart or Sam's Club, you can buy Walmart gift cards. I would do 3 $100 gift cards so no taxes on your purchase. I think if it's $200 or more, you maybe taxed. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
IIRC, during the Sam's Club GC iPhone holiday promo, people were saying they could use their Sam's Club GCs to buy Visa GC at self checkout if the VGC was a $200 solid card purchase (not the $100-$500 variety choice cards)

I did not do that Sam's Club promo, so I did not follow the thread too closely.
