Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

They trying to pull a fast one on us all, denying everyone untill you call them. They didn't know we are SDers!

So far am I'm 5/5 rebate valid and will receive gift cards in 10 days. The other lines need a couple more days to mature.

Visible gift card is much easier to get.
Did you have to call to get rebates approved or was it automatic?

You have to wait until you see that you're denied. Then call, then they will say blah blah blah and you are qualified etc, and they will manually correct your registration. Then after a day my promo hub turned to valid, and that I'll be receiving the card in 10 days.

Thanks all for all the info on this thread. I am bowing out, with the following results:

Account #1 - activated 5 lines (ported all from GV) on 3/14 (No CC, Unlimited Basic)
- Unlock GV numbers = -$15
- TCB = +840 (including 5% bonus for visa GC. TCB tracked this twice by mistake - not complaining) - claimed Sunday
- Referral = +450 (got only 9, not sure why, but not worth chasing the missing one)
- spent in Staples, got 5% on only 8 = +$20
- Physical GCs = +$1500 (received all 5 today)
- Paid bills for 4 months = -($125 x 4 = $500)

Account #2 - activated 5 lines on 3/20 (ported all from xfinity, No CC, Unlimited Plus)
- xfinity 1 month taxes only = -$5
- TCB cashback = +$420 (claimed)
- Amazon SIM cards = -$1
- Amazon deal virtual GCs (4 lines qualified) = +$400
- Referrals (got only 7) = +$350
- GCs (virtual) = +$1500 (received all by email)
- paid bills = -($125 x 4 = $500)

Ready for port out - already bought 10 H2O SIM cards = -$10

Total tally ~= $4450. Awesome deal for a few phone calls to get the rebates validated.

Got all my virtual GCs. I used them to pay Sprint bill. I now have a huge negative balance on my Sprint account. Planning to port out all lines in the next few days and let the account auto cancel. Sprint will send me the remaining balance in a check. At the end, no loss of money, very less effort to cash out all GCs. It just takes time, but no worry about tracking any GC.
How do you know they send check and not refund back to credit card

I know by experience. I had the 1-year free BYOD plan from Sprint multiple times (alternating between my wife and I). Before closing out, I maxed out paying the bill with my 5% Chase Ink card and got the refund by check.

Did you get these from Amazon? Isn't a plan required to port the numbers into H2O?

Yes, got them from Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013OUS19E
To port out, you need to choose some plan, but choose not to add any value initially. Port out happens and service will not work unless you add value. That's good enough if you want to cancel the lines from Sprint.

Nice going. Did you say you double dipped on the Amazon $100 per sim deal and the $300 gc?

You can buy the SIM at Tracfone.com or at local stores for $1 but you can't activate it without a time card/plan, and the $15 plan is the cheapest to qualify for the $15 OFF code. After applying the code, the SIM + $15 Plan should cost just $0.99 plus taxes & fees. For me, a grand total of $1.12. Can't really beat that.
What to do with the lines after the first month?

And H2O will port your numbers without having an active data plan??
