Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Hi All, For those of you who have USAA they appear to offer free advances from external mastercards into your USAA account. There is a $500 limit per day but that just means I have to go back in each day to do another card. Pretty sweet if you ask me.
Yep. My plan is to dump all $1500 in my USAA account towards car insurance bill.

I got the Denied Invalid Sales location not eligible status too. I chatted with CSR. It took over an hour before CSR said she'll have to submit a form because it seems to be a system error.

Makes me wonder if it's part of their training to make customers wait a long time so that we'll just walk away and forget.

OTOH, slow chat agents is better than being on the phone for an hour. I got to do other stuff while slow agent was being extra slow.
I chatted with Sprint on 6/19/20 F. Status changed to "In Process. our registration is valid and is scheduled for final processing. Your card will be delivered within 7 business days" on 6/25/20 Th.

I redeemed the card today but when i used the MC card info (#, exp date, CVV) on my www.prepaidcardcenter.com [prepaidcardcenter.com], I got "We were unable to process your information. Please try again."

Sigh. More chatting. I chatted with Sprint. CSR said I should call 844-382-3312. CSR said they're for Home Credit (Visa cards) but that she knows what I'm calling about and that the correct number is 8444507865. She said they're getting a lot of misdirected calls and is wondering why.

HA HA HA. That 3312 phone number is posted on the Sprint promotions hub website (https://www.sprintpromotionshub.com/#/contact). Is Sprint deliberately misleading customers? And why aren't the Sprint Home Credit department aware that Sprint is deliberately misdirecting people to them.

Sigh. More calling. Can't be avoided.

Not able to add to Prepaid Center either. The only workaround I've found to get my balance is by calling their customer number found here: https://myprepaidcenter.com/contact-us (Mastercard cardholders: 888-371-2109)

Also side note: I was able to add the virtual $300 gc to Samsung Pay. So a workaround for those that want to use the virtual card in-store.

Does that have an automated balance check option or does one have to go through a human to check the account balance?

Just received my$300! For reference in the beginning I was not a "new" Sprint customer (ported out of sprint to mint mobile and ported back in the same week) and I didn't think I would qualify for the promo, but I eventually got it! What a nice surprise to wake up to Smilie

Now that I'm 2 days into my 4th billing cycle, if I port out now, will I still have to pay the full bill? Haven't received the bill statement yet.

I read on the Sprint community forums and others that Sprint doesn't pro-rate.

And they would use the same cashout money to pay some household bills. Why not simply use the debit cards to simply pay for some of these household expenses?
By using debit cards to pay bills, you miss out on the chance of using credit cards (and thus earning CC points/miles) to pay for those said bills. Also cash is king. If I can avoid prepaying for bills I would choose to do that instead. Smilie That $ can be spent sitting in a high yield savings/reward checking account or investments, etc. It's all about opportunity cost.

Help!

There's a huge braintrust in this thead ... can someone give me a suggestion please?

I have 5 phones on this deal. Still waiting for payout.

My main cell number is with Venn Mobile which I switched to 2 months ago at the same time I did this deal.

Venn Mobile's service is now experiencing a 'temp' service outage but it looks like the company has sh|t the bed and is finished. I need to port out my number ASAP(!) while I still have a chance to salvage it either to a temporary carrier or - as a triage action - to park the number somewhere so it's safe until I can figure out what to do? I don't want my number to be lost for good.

Any ideas?

(FYI, last week I tried to port the number in to Sprint for their recent free line promotion, but the phone /number was shown as ineligible, I assume since Venn Mobile uses Sprints service).

Thanks a bunch for any suggestions!

I used the contact form on the referral site to contact Referral Support. It took them a week of investigation to approve it. The weird thing was that I sent an email to [email protected] at 9:16am on the 7th day, got the approval email from Referral Support at 9:17am, got an email at 9:19am from CebuPromoEsc assigned a case number. I don't know what triggered the approval.
Thanks for your reply and repped. After approval, how long did it take for rebate to show up on rebateshq?

I pay my utility bills with my USBank Cash+ VISA and get 5% cb, also get 5% cb when using it to pay cell phone bills. My Amex Preferred gives 6% cb for groceries. Why would I want to use the Sprint GCs to pay those expenses and miss out on the cb?

What is the cheapest way to port out for free? Is there a way to port out without needing to buy a SIM card?

It seems like Sprint will pro-rate if you port out, but not if you cancel.

Went to my local CVS wanting to buy VISA GCs with my Sprint GCs to get the 5% cb, but the clerk said I have to use cash. No deal.

Went to my local Dillons (Krogers), bought a $700 money order using one Sprint $300 card + eight Sprint $50 cards, paid 88 cents fee. Also bought a $1000 money order using four AT&T $250 VISA cards just received today, another 88 cents fee. Stopped by my bank and deposited the m.o. to my checking account.

Next round within 2 weeks: 2 (or 3) more Sprint $300 GCs and 2 AT&T $250 cards.Big Grin

You didn't factor into your analysis the cost of turning the Sprint DCs cards into cash. So far I have not heard of anyone cashing out these DCs without incurring cost. There is a fee for buying money orders at the grocery store or Visa cards at Staples.
