While on chat for porting in BYOD Amazon deal, just after midnight, the BYOD page changed to include the $300 BYOD bunus.

Only terms so far posted: "Requires port and online registration; Prepaid Mastercard ships after 90 days."

Further terms: https://www.sprintpromotionshub.com/?clickref=1101l7NgWhxI&ECID=AFFStick Out TongueH:slickdeals1&utm_source=PH&utm_medium=affiliate&dclid=CKmAjprylugCFY-_wAod968JfA#/promodisplay [sprintpromotionshub.com]

Limit 5 per new account.

"You can register at www.sprint.com/offers, enter Promo Code 300BYOD313." Per Chat agent, when I inquired. . .

https://www.sprint.com/en/landing...:Shop:BYOD

No Credit Check Option: https://www.sprint.com/en/landing...check.html

This deal is also an option as a MM for most current Sprint customers, as you can have both a Credit Check (conventional) account AND a no credit check account. And you get new customer status an perks when you open the 2nd account. Just need a few extra numbers to port in and extra IMEI's to match them to. . .
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

How to cash in your rebate cards:

Quote from hpham_53 :
I can buy a money order up to $1000 and pay 88 cents for fee at my local Dillons. .... It's a no brainer.
Quote from swammer :
If you can use them at Staples or CVS for a VGC, you get 5% back, so there is no cost! You even earn some $!
Quote from Genghis_Khan :
Prepaid cards can be used to buy the equivalent Walmart gift cards to use for merchandise, groceries or gas. People also buy Amazon gift cards and put the money on their Amazon accounts. If you do a lot of online purchase it is easy to liquidate this without losing money. We can use the cards also to pay for our Sprint bill. We can do it in the my Sprint app and you can choose the amount you want to pay. Great if we have money leftover after we use the card to purchase other items.
Quote from hpham_53 :
For people who frequently buy items on Ebay, the Sprint GCs can be used to buy Ebay GCs. The advantage is that you can use up to 4 Ebay GCs for a big purchase, but you cannot use multiple Sprint GCs for a big purchase.

oh my...last minute drive , and there will be lots of questions from newbies.
4/9 is last day ti sign up (rumors are it MAY get extended)
5/10 is last day to have all information entered for cash back

LG History Checker post 6855

Quote :
for sprint phones (android only)

from dial pad
dial

# # 7 8 6 #

(no spaces)

hit view.
u can see the history of phone
date activated, min used etc
so this is a high level summary. keep reading entire wiki for detailed questions .

here is what i know (if anyone want to add or fill in where i have not given information?):
note i have hidden some information as it is not allowed on SD rules, and i dont want to break sd rules, but u should be able to figure it out.)

-2. best practice: do all in edge browsewr, not chrome or mozilla. if not edge , try chrome in cognito mode

-1. port in is required for all lines. no contract, but u will need to stay on for 4 months to get gift card of $300

0. best practice: sign up as new user that hasn't been with sprint for ~45 days to be safe.
use spouse name/ etc.

1. pre sign up bonus: there is one (cant tell u how here)

2. decide if u gonna do 1 line or maximize cash back money maker with 5 lines.
a. if 1 line , then kick starer
b. if 5 lines then 5 for 100 plus
c. if 5 lines , then best practice is that they be done once

4. if u need numbers to port in, then ebay sellers have att numbers for $5 each. they are usually quick and will respond with 10 minutes, with account number, pin , telephoen numbers

5. u can byod or buy phone
a. byod , need correct sim for your phones
b. buy phone, people are buying phone from sprint as they sign up.
the best is refurbished lg from sprint for $50.
u can get this phone practically free..if use certain cbsite u will $125 back per line (cant tell u whcih one here)
c. u cannot mix/match byod + buy phone. its either 5 byod or 5 buy phones

6. post sign up bonuses...there are few, but i dont details.....AA miles back, love my CU,
Walgreens...edit: i am not sure which ones will and will not work

7. there is also the option of no credit check:
a. the details are: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Sprint Perks is highly likely stackable with the $300 rebate, see last post from page pg413.
Warning: Plan ahead on your final plan(s) objective. Sign up for whatever plan you're going to keep from the start. Going from Kickstart to the unlimited plans with the BYOD discounts took me nearly 2 hours, 4 reps, a manager and a lot of whining to get and I still wasn't able to get Unlimited Plus for $100 for 5 lines and had to settle with Unlimited Basic for $100. see posts 3641 & 3645, 3653

**Select Sprint Unlimited Plus plan if you have 5 lines to port ... total will still be 5 for $100**
**1st line $60, 2nd line $40, 3rd line Unlimited Basic $0, 4th line Unlimited Basic $0, 5th line Unlimited Basic $0**

to get $300 rebate:

1. Requires port and online registration; Prepaid Mastercard ships after 90 days. - Direct URL - https://www.sprintpromotionshub.com/#/300BYOD313

2. it is pretty well understood throughout this thread that one must be a new customer, defined as one who has been away from Sprint for > 45 days.

3. Best practice if the numbers ported-in have not previously been on Sprint ever.
i. Sprint lines from 1yr free BYOD will most likely NOT work, not even with a POPI (port out, port in).

see screen shot below on wording that "previously activated number may be ineligible for the offer"

still that hasn't stopped folks from trying. so use your best judgement.

4. there are other items that will make this deal even sweeter. cannot list here, but u need to refer to the posts spread around in this thread.

If you porting in multiple lines to a single account, make sure you do it in one Order otherwise only the first line will qualify as new customer and the rest will be counted as for existing customer

4-in-1 sim kit (says 3 but is 4) is $3 from Sprint with free overnight shipping:

To finish porting, call: Call: 866-437-1818 or 877-503-3269

The easiest method to complete your number port is to DIY on the website.
  1. Get your order number and passcode (from your order confirmation when you placed your order)
  2. Activate your SIM cards at this link [sprint.com] using your confirmation number and zip
  3. Your SIMs are activated but they won't work because your old carrier still has the number
  4. To get account number, look on the packing slip if you got the sims through Sprint. Or, open a conversation with online chat support. May wait up to 30 mins.
  5. Ask them for your account number so you can setup your online account. You may be asked for your confirmation number and passcode.
  6. Setup your online account.
  7. In your dashboard, you may get an alert stating that your number transfer failed and to click on the link to resolve. Use that link. If you don't have an alert, you can manually find the link under the transfer option.
  8. The transfer page lists all your activated SIMs and their number transfers. They should all be failed. If you don't see a number, then you haven't activated that SIM or you need to wait a bit longer for Sprints system to refresh.
  9. Open each transfer and enter the correct verification information for your old carrier. The form fields may already have values prepopulated, I recommend deleting old values and entering in the correct values. Important form fields are account number, pin, and zip.
  10. Wait 5 minutes, reopen or refresh the transfer page and each number should say "Ready for Transfer". If it tells you to call the Sprint support line, you need to wait longer for Sprint's system to update. Just wait another 5 mins and refresh. If it says failed, then you entered some incorrect information and you need to get the correct information from your old carrier. For example, some carriers expect you to put in leading 0's (i.e. 00012345) for account numbers.
  11. Whenever you want Sprint to start porting, click on each number on the transfer page and tell Sprint to port. There are 2 confirmations. The ports will take around 10 mins.
  12. Wait 10 mins and your phones should work. If not just wait longer for the port or you have a different issue.
  13. Once your numbers have been ported, you can register for the promotion.

Please see page 367 post 5495 for detailed instructions after order placement..

Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Went to my local CVS wanting to buy VISA GCs with my Sprint GCs to get the 5% cb, but the clerk said I have to use cash. No deal.

Went to my local Dillons (Krogers), bought a $700 money order using one Sprint $300 card + eight Sprint $50 cards, paid 88 cents fee. Also bought a $1000 money order using four AT&T $250 VISA cards just received today, another 88 cents fee. Stopped by my bank and deposited the m.o. to my checking account.

Next round within 2 weeks: 2 (or 3) more Sprint $300 GCs and 2 AT&T $250 cards.Big Grin

By using debit cards to pay bills, you miss out on the chance of using credit cards (and thus earning CC points/miles) to pay for those said bills. Also cash is king. If I can avoid prepaying for bills I would choose to do that instead. Smilie That $ can be spent sitting in a high yield savings/reward checking account or investments, etc. It's all about opportunity cost.
You didn't factor into your analysis the cost of turning the Sprint DCs cards into cash. So far I have not heard of anyone cashing out these DCs without incurring cost. There is a fee for buying money orders at the grocery store or Visa cards at Staples.

I can buy a money order up to $1000 and pay 88 cents for fee at my local Dillons. If I pay $1000 in utilities and grocery expenses with my USBank Cash+ VISA card, I'll get $50-$60 cash back. It's a no brainer.

Two AT&T accounts: one with 4 lines before they cut the limit to two GCs, one with 2 lines after limiting.

My electricity utility needs $3extra for payment from credit or debit card... So i cannot.
Anyways i was saying everybody should already know that we can use this prepaid card anywhere to pay something online or in store

Yes, it depends on the company. My local natural gas company charges a fixed $1.99 to pay with a credit card; my average monthly bill is $50, not worth using a card. Water Dept, Electricity, Cox Cable all accept credit cards without a surcharge.

Update:
At 11AM today, got a congrats email from Sprint about the GC (for my line3a). Checked Sprint site and status changed to Fulfilled (was In Process this morning). Shipped date 6/21/20.

Line2 was auto-denied yesterday. I called and the rep got it approved after initially telling me it was denied because my wife got referrer's cards for it. Status now changed to Pending (Valid), was Invalid this morning. Looks like Sprint site gets updated around 11AM.

Line1 was auto-denied on 3/13. I've been calling and emailing Sprint Promo since that date. Finally got an email yesterday evening from Sprint Promo saying it was approved. Status today shows Pending (Valid).

On RHQ, status for all 3 claims show "Your rebate is valid. Please allow up to 30 days to receive your rebate".

The battles are winding down.
What's the status of your line 3b? Wondering if they will approve that too, lol

It changed to Pending/Valid "expect card in 10 business days" this morning. If they send it, it wouldn't bother my conscience too much to keep it. They still owe me two $50 referral cards that I haven't pursued yet, plus all the hassle they put me through.
