Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

You can sign up for free Moto Stylus phones (G7 update) at Metro By T Mobile.
I signed up for their four lines for $120 plan and received four phones.
One line was my primary; I am going to use it to test Metro/TMo coverage.
If you don't want the service, it cancels at the end of the month.
However, the phones are tied to Metro until six months of contiguous use with the carrier.

One thing of note is that H2O sent an email confirming your port-in request, but 2 hours later I still don't see an email confirming that it was done. I had to log into my AT&T account to confirm that the number is gone.

With H2O, I'll have to go to a BestBuy. So, gas and time = same amount I'd be spending on Tello.
In Chicago, taxes and fees are often ~$10. So, in my case total cost for 2 months would be $85. Not worth the hassle. Though I'm curious to test Verizon data strength.
