Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Just got an email from Sprint about the $300 card for my line1, submitted on 3/15. This is the one that I had to fight the hardest. Status shows "Fulfilled", shipped on 6/25. Two down, one or two more to go.

I'm uncertain on if this is an option to port out Sprint numbers (I used VZW and eBay-ATT numbers), but ...

You can sign up for free Moto Stylus phones (G7 update) at Metro By T Mobile.

I signed up for their four lines for $120 plan and received four phones.

One line was my primary; I am going to use it to test Metro/TMo coverage.

If you don't want the service, it cancels at the end of the month.

However, the phones are tied to Metro until six months of contiguous use with the carrier.

For someone who just wants to port out of Sprint and let the numbers die, I just did it a few hours ago with H2O to port out of AT&T, using the info from kenpet, Desi, and Genghis_Khan. I ordered 5 (max allowed) H2O SIMs at Best Buy for $1 each and picked them up today. Used the info from posts 9649-9659 below and it worked like a charm. Didn't have to buy any plan.

One thing of note is that H2O sent an email confirming your port-in request, but 2 hours later I still don't see an email confirming that it was done. I had to log into my AT&T account to confirm that the number is gone.

So with Visible, you get $100 per line after paying two months of service at $25 per month ( party pay) , pocket $50 eventually? Now I regret porting to Xfinity, although I am paying about $20 for 5 lines ( unlimited voice/text and 1gb shared data) get $50 prepaid card after 3-4 long months with credit check.

I might stick to porting out to Tello bc I already have a fone and SIM card that work with them. $5 lowest plan. I've had Tello before and it was very easy to cancel my number unlike what people say about Sprint that cancelling seems to be a battle.

With H2O, I'll have to go to a BestBuy. So, gas and time = same amount I'd be spending on Tello.

It says on the Visible website that it's $25 for the first month. Next month is $40.

In Chicago, taxes and fees are often ~$10. So, in my case total cost for 2 months would be $85. Not worth the hassle. Though I'm curious to test Verizon data strength.

With a "party pay", like a group buy, someone set up a party and you join it, the subsequent months only cost $25, not $40.
