Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

You used up 3 x $300 cards for 1 money order and paid .88 total.....is that correct?
Did you have to swipe each card and amount was deducted 1 by 1?
I wonder if virtual cards can be added to Walmart app and then used to pay for a money order the same way.
Yes. each time balance was reduced by $300. Told cashier that I was going to use 3 debit cards prior to ordering MO, he didn't seem to care much as he just said ok.

Thanx.
Not familiar with money orders.....do they ask for your id or anything when purchasing or cashing?
Just wondering as I am going to have a lot of reward cards.

Why are people porting out so quickly? Are you forgoing the 4th month of service which you will have to pay for (since Sprint does not prorate if you cancel in the middle of the cycle)?
I'm not. End of my billing cycle is the 16th. I'll port out on the 7th just in case I run into any problem when porting out requiring several days of waiting.

I am planning to port out and just received an email that my autopay payment will process on July 17. The billing period is from May 24 - June 23. Does it mean that a new billing period has started and will be paid for ..and should wait until around June 23 to port to take advantage of the month that has been paid for?
Your current billing period is from June 24 to July 23. Although the bill isn't due/autopaid until July 17, you're already into the current billing period and can't get out of paying for it. If you actually use the service, wait until a few days before July 23 to port out. If not, and you want to move on to another BYOD deal, then port out earlier.

At my Dillons store, the clerk did not ask for ID, or check to see what names are on the card. The only requirement is that they're Debit Cards and you have the PINs for them.

The autopayment on Jul 17 actually pays for Jun 24-Jul 23. (U can confirm this by chatting with Sprint CS). Port out before Jul 23.

My first time too. He didn't ask for ID. Walmart website says "For purchases over $1,000 a valid government-issued photo ID is required" so I kept it under that amount.

So, you received physical cards and were able to add them to a myprepaidcenter.com account?

It seems it's people who received virtual cards who can't sign in/add to an existing account on myprepaidcenter.com, The website just says "*We were unable to process your information. Please try again."
I had no problems adding the physical GCs to myprepaidcenter account. From what I've read, Virtual Cards are a PITA.

This is what it actually states in my email from sprint.

I understand that's what your bill shows, but Sprint bills a month ahead, so the bill to be autopaid on July 17 covers from June 24 to July 23. Call or Chat with Sprint if you want to verify what I said. There's a "billing period" and a "service period" and it's a bit difficult to explain/understand the way Sprint uses those terms.

Yes, a real PITA.

I have an existing myprepaidcenter account because I had several physical Macy's prepaid VISA cards. I had no problem adding them. I can't add the virtual Sprint MC card.

Could you post the info on the back of your card (excluding your card info) for customer service? Thanks.

Awesome.
Last question for you, did you need to enter the pin number for each card?

Yes. Same process for each card. Swiped, then quickly pressed red Cancel on the touch screen once it appears, click debit then put pin.
