Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

I just want to port line1 out now to see how long it takes Tracfone to port the number out of Sprint.

Porting from Sprint to Tracfone was very fast for me, like 15-20 minutes maximum.
Well, I called a month ago and was told it will come with the $300 rebates.
I also have the Sprint email saying that I was referred by a friend. So...I assume $50 is coming my way?

The Sprint email confirmed that you were referred by a friend, but your friend must also maintain service until the rewards are paid to both of you. If the referrer no longer has his/her account active, your referral might not be paid out. I suggest you contact Referral Support again to check on the status of your referral reward.

I am in a similar situation. Received $300 card for my first line, and waiting for the second line's rebate card. Expected to receive it today as it was shipped May 26, but it's not showing in my Informed Delivery. Once I receive it, my plan is to port out one line, convert another line into BB Kickstart, and after that to add a free line if I am still eligible at that point.
activation-date + 90 days OR rebate-submit-date + 90 days
activation-date + 90 days OR rebate-submit-date + 90 days
3/25 Activated 3x BYOD lines
4/9 Submitted rebate
6/24 3x rebates approved
91 days from rebate submission would've been 7/9 for me

Something puzzling though, I added the Tracfone SIM card (loaded with a $15 plan) that I bought last week to my TF account. Went through the process of activating it, selected Keep My Number, enter my Sprint line1 phone number, at the next screen I filled out all the port-in info. When I clicked on SUBMIT, it did some spinning then came back to the same screen. No error message or red-lighted field. Don't know why, tried a few times with other browser, same result. Checked Sprint account and it still shows Line1.

This happened to me too, couple of times about 3-4 weeks ago. AT&T and T-Mobile sim cards from Tracfone did the same spinning with retrun to the original screen while trying to port in from another carrier. I thought it was because I did numerous activations/ports on Tracfone site before and somehow they blocked my IP address. Tried different browsers on different computers, without success. Then tried Verizon sim card on one of the laptops that was never used to do Tracfone transactions, and it worked, ported a number from Sprint free year BYOD.
Internal ports within Tracfone have been working fine, e.g. changing Tracfone networks, like T-Mobile sim to AT&T sim.
Will be porting to Tracfone soon, will see how it goes.

I've been using TF since 2001 and am quite familiar with its quirks, but I've ported in a number only once, in 2003 when bringing my wife's phone from postpaid Verizon to TF.
I have a few H2O SIMs on hand at the moment. I'll use them to port my 3 lines out of Sprint. Last week I bought 3 TF BYOP SIMs preloaded with $15 plan for $1.12 each, I can activate them with new numbers and "harvest" the units from them for my main phone on TF. Nothing wasted.
