Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

After a 30 minute slow as hell chat to unlock my phones, csr finally tells me I need to call in the get it done. What a waste of time. :|
I have one used LG Tribute bought from Sprint, it was unlocked automatically after 50 days. I also have a Sprint-branded LG Stylo 4+ bought on HSN. After 50 days, I chatted with a Sprint regular rep who passed me on to a Tech Support rep that unlocked it for me.

Ah, you're right, most of my Tributes have been unlocked automatically. Unfortunately my iphone X's have not. I guess they know which phones I'm likely to keep using.

Call the Retentions department at 844-382-3317. They are officially in charge of unlocking devices.

They will ask you why, but I always tell them I want to give the phone to my friend who is with Verizon/AT&T because I am going to buy a new 'Sprint' phone in the next few weeks. They think they are making a sale soon and they have never asked any further questions.

Well, good news DP for costco upgraders like me!

I guess my risk paid off (at least somewhat). Sprint denied my rebates saying I upgraded my devices (to iPhone 7 for $500 costco rebate). But status updated to approved few days ago and I got my cards in the mail! Yay! Now, waiting for costco gift cards which will take another 45 days to complete requirements : )
can you tell what is the costco rebate? is the offer still on

Same. Go back a few pages. You'll see that those of us who had a payable date of July 7th are having the $0.05 issue. If you haven't already, create a ticket and see what they say

Did you do BYOD or did you buy device from them? What was your estimated payable date?

I just created a ticket, response was that Sprint didn't financially account for all of the CB referrals in April 2020. They are talking to Sprint to hopefully recoup funds. But that's all I got. I have my $625 back, but under pending instead of verified (pending investigation).

When was your payable date?

received sprint email today mentioned $300 bonus has been approved and will receive it "by mail" within 10-15 business days.

I remember I choose virtual card (double check screen shot is virtual card correctly).
--> will they change to ship physical card via postal mail?

and once u receive e-mail, approximately how long receive it (virtual or postal mail)

BTW, what is lowest cost to get any carrier sim or other method to port out # instead of calling to cancel? bcos I heard many ppl said sprint will keep charging credit card even u called to cancel and reps said all set. I think better way is port out directly to make it hassle free

thx

Anyone tried getting a MO at the post office with the physical cards? Wondering if you need a special trick to use it like you have to at Walmart
Just curious. Why just not use the gc for your everyday expenses? Why go with the hassle of changing it to money order or depositing it to bank account? I already spent 3 of my gc.

Prefer getting points on my CCs to use for travel expenses

You said that you received email saying that your rebate was approved, could you let me know when you submitted the rebate?

As to the best way to cancel the line, I know some people use H20 , you can buy from Target or bestbuy for $1.
