Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Had denial due to activation date being on the 10th. On phone with rep who did not argue and said she will manually update. I had the account originally noted by Jackie from Marcy's team awhile ago which I am sure was helpful. Still will have to give it some time to see on site. Said they are having issues update site but manually updated so no worries..Now the only thing I am screwed on is BFrug.

Confused by their billing period dates.
My first bill says April 9 to April 9
2nd says April 10 to May 9
3rd says May 10 to June 9

But paying 3 months should cover me until July 9

See samsung pay swipes the card same way you would swipe a physical card.. So if your real card would prompt you then even a swipe with samsung pay would prompt it..
Terminal does not know if you are swiping a physical card or you are swiping samsung pay because samsung phone uses same magnetic technology in a real card..

I have neither used a physical gc from here nor i have used a virtual card from this deal...
I am telling you about samsung pay which i have used many times with my other cards in past.
Thanks. Your comment makes sense. Just looking for actual data points to confirm. I want to try it out.

Phone rep told me that I am not eligible for the rebate because the original phone for BYOP was broken and I upgraded to another phone on the same line. The broken phone was still active but on a new line that is not part of the original BYOP line. Is there any other way for them to honor the offer?

Did you rebate status actually showing the word "invalid" ? Can you go to rebateshq and enter your name and zip code to pull up all the rebates...and tell us the rebate status..

Call again and find a different rep.. As long as you did not take a phone from sprint on a lease on that line then you are good

Don't pay attention to their crazy billing period dates. Just use common sense:
1st service period: 4/10 to 5/9
2nd service period: 5/10 to 6/9
3rd service period: 6/10 to 7/9

Today is July 10 which means you're already into the 4th service period. So you'll have to pay for 4 months for service. You'll need to pay one more bill.

Those are billing periods.. Not the service periods..they charge you in advance each month.. So 3months payment should cover you till July 9th.

Thanks. Kind of strange though, because if I am in 4th service period, shouldn't I already have paid 4 months?

Sprint generates bill 2-3days late so you will see new bill of billing period June 10 to July 9 (which means service period of July 10 to Aug 9) in ur sprint account in 2-3days more

Thanks. Just strange that they make you pay after. So technically I can stiff them once I get the cards and not pay since it is no credit check acct even though that would not be kosher. But I have autopay setup anyway so they will get their money. Just hope I get mine Cool

Because it is postpaid service.....which you use it before payment. (You use 23/23 days of service before paying for it) but the bill is generated when you enter into a new cycle, viewable online few days later

Btw, with your name and address, they are able to send you to collection and this info will post on your credit report....

You can remove autopay Big Grin
But i think thats not good thing to do as they can still track using name and address and anyways why to do that when its just one month bill and when they gave you so much amount with GCs
