Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Call again and find a different rep.. As long as you did not take a phone from sprint on a lease on that line then you are good
I did, unfortunately. I bought a new phone on that line with 24 month payment option. The deal was to get $500 Costco cash card by purchasing an iPhone Xs.

Did you rebate status actually showing the word "invalid" ? Can you go to rebateshq and enter your name and zip code to pull up all the rebates...and tell us the rebate status..
Yes, it says invalid, and that is why I called.

did anyone try asking for cash advance from the physical $300 card at a bank?
if it works for citi card bill, cash advance should work as well. just like at&t, t-mobile and verizon rebate cards.

So technically I can stiff them once I get the cards and not pay since it is no credit check acct even though that would not be kosher.
That's the reason postpaid carriers check your credit when possible and prefer autopay. With a credit-check account, there's no "spending limit" while a no-credit check Sprint account has a spending limit. Below is what my wife's no-credit-check account shows. If the past due amount exceeds that limit, they'll cut-off service.

So you only got one line with financing phone under invalid status?
Guess they fixed ineligible sales location issue also fixed the glitches, that they no longer approve duplicate rebate submission for a line number, as well as line with upgrade on phone financing/installment

Ppl, who got on this deal early and met the 90 days requirement before they fixed the bug, got the rebates...

Someone who did the sprint Costco deal and got rebates approved want to chime in and help?

i bought 5 financed phones from Costco on 5 lines. byod rebates are showing "valid" for all 5 of those lines. they must be using this as an excuse for you.

Both Sprint and rebates HQ shows status invalid for my wife's account.

2 LG phones ordered on 04/08
phones activated/ported-in on 04/09
$300 port-in rebate submitted 04/10
invalid status 91st day after submission 07/09

Today I spoke to a rep and chatted to 2 reps who were clueless. One of them even has less understanding than the others and said he was emailing the retention's dept to have them cover the contract from the previous carrier-wait what! my wife's numbers were ported-in from GV. Another 90 minutes of my life wasted. I'll wait until 07/14 and try again.

I've sent way too many emails, chats, and phone calls in an attempt to get her $50 referral and $200 Walgreens Sprint perks gift card without any success. She is getting rolled over on this deal especially with paying for 4 months of service. Now, we'll see if Sprint is going to stiff her on the port in rebate too. I've got multiple Sprint chat transcripts, emails, and contact records-but it makes no difference. if Sprint decides they want to jerk you around, the only option is to keep harrassing them and they'll keep blowing smoke until you give up...

When did you activate your service and get your rebate approved? Is it a manual approve or auto approve...

Story: during the "invalid sales location" period they approve every rebate manually...

If you activated after 4/9 and got this sales location message they will manually approve you.
If you got this message b/c your 90 days service is up, they manually approve you...

Then kgkg is probably activated after 4/9...that the rep thought the rebate is invalid due to financing but the real reason is activation after 4/9(?)

Wow, just got my shipping notification that my two AT&T sim cards have shipped. No hassle whatsoever. Not even a credit check (I am a uVerse customer). This for the $250 rebate/line.

My last Sprint # will get ported to Fi ... they have $100 off the Moto Stylus ($199). I signed up for two lines to receive two phones ... primary and back up.

Earlier today, I tried a TMo sim in my Metro (By TMo) locked Moto Stylus ... no luck.

After all is complete, my plan is to stay with TMo with two lines using unlocked phones. If they suspend credits if I pay off the two i11 phones I have (as someone here mentioned), I'll just return them. I will call TMo later to confirm.
