Don't be fooled beyond reality with these price fluctuations on Amazon. The current price is $20.99 (6%) off the regularly available price on Amazon over the last 3 months. The last deal "expired" not because it sold out but rather because Amazon increased the price $200 higher than the previous 3-month maximum; it remained at that maximum for 3 days before dropping to this level and being reposted as a new deal thread.

Still waiting on mine from the last deal but I got to use a friend's and I'm excited to get it. The capacity to cross cut at 90 degrees is impressive and saves me from going with a much larger 12" saw.

I haven't used this saw but I have heard that it's quite difficult to push the head down against the spring tension and the blade guard mechanism. I deal killer for me personally.
