This was an extremely good anime. Not much of a fan of Sword Art Online (anime MMOs genre in general) but I really enjoyed this due to the dark fantasy. The characters are surprisingly deep, the protagonist group are very overpowered and that dynamic is handled very well. It starts off as a lighthearted MMO anime but changes gear into a more serious story. The only downside I can think of is that as of right now the anime is unfinished, it has a lot more plot to uncover. So I eagerly anticipate more seasons.

Highly recommended. The few people who i've shown this to really enjoyed it. This is a more story line driven anime keep in mind. For fans of DARK FANTASY!

Tell me what's so deep about the character of Albedo? The female character that the main protagonist makes her be madly infatuated with him. Making that her only defining trait.

Season 1: pretty good
2; very uneven, but still ok.
3; starts ok, then goes off the cliff into actual torture. Terrible downward trend.
Lot of discussion on other sites that this went off the rails so badly that a 4th season is unlikely.

Save your $, get a subscription elsewhere and find much better titles.

Yeah the slaughter and torture scenes really put me off to the mc
