Get a Marantz. They are really nice units. Make sure you get one with Audyssey. The calibration it will give you is night/day difference then just running a normal receiver.
I bought a onkyo sr 494 for about 189$ shipped last year and then bought these speakers around Christmas. No complaints at all. Can add 2 more speakers and 1 sub as well.
Day 248: Still waiting on a deal for only a Klipsch center speaker
Will never happen because it doesn't need to - supply/demand. Meaning enough captive people with everything but the center that are willing to pay full price for the center.

Indeed a finely calibrated receiver makes a huge difference.

Klipsch is a very efficient speaker, pretty much any decent receiver will run them fine.
I would suggest just looking for open box or used since you only need 5 channels with this package.

Last week Harman Audio had a sale, including their flagship center channel 4 drivers, 3 way speaker ... that was your deal.
