If so, these are ONLY drills and no accessories. But what if I don't personally have the rest of the accessories AND I also need the drill? wouldn't this deal be considered "not bad?" Because I seriously need a drill and all of those accessories until I read your comment lol
Pretty sure this was clearance down to around $30 during a recent clearance wave. Not even close to being worth $70
There are several different versions of this kit; this one has the most accessories. (Not saying you're wrong, though I checked before posting and I didn't see this exact deal here.)

If you have zero tools and need something, might be worth $30. The screwdriver bits are a useless filler, the wrenches will never be used, etc, etc. Otherwise you're better off spending that $70 at harbor freight using 20% off coupons.

What do they have at Harbor Freight for $70 and a 20% coupon?

Pretty sure I've seen lithium drill for around $30, use a coupon and you're into the $20s. Socket, screwdriver and drill bit sets from $5+. Plier set around $10. for $70 you'd end up with much better /more tools.

I bought a few of these drills on clearance in store as low as $12 just for the battery last year. These are single speed (no grearbox) and the torque is pretty limited, which is OK for regular light duty stuff.

The 2-speed version is much better since it has a bigger chuck and delivers pretty good torque.

I got mine for $30 on clearance and use it with hole saws on soft wood all the time.

The brushes gave out after max 5 hours of cumulative use.

Went with Menards brushless for $70. Will see how it holds up

Great set for the person who makes occasional repairs around the home. Not a all encompassing tool set but it is not supposed to be. Probably B&D's lowest model of 20v drill with only 750 rpm max speed and torque only 115 in-lbs but again this is not a Serious DIY'er type of set and will work for many. If you want something more encompassing or heavy duty you have to spend more money. It's that simple. The best thing is as you become more confident in your abilities and want to tackle more difficult tasks, your not out that much money for this set OR you keep the battery and charger and purchase a higher end model of B&D's drills. Speaking of chargers...that is the one issue I have with these lower end drills ie they come with Black Deckers battery top charger that takes hours to recharge and has no safeguards to prevent overcharging the battery if left attached.

Worth about $50 max. Has a little bit of everything. Pretty useful kit. Don't trust the cheap HF electrical stuff.

I had similar experiences. This 20 volt model is slow, and not that powerful.
However, I did get a little more power out of my larger B&D trimmer battery. That's 1.5ah vs 4ah, for maybe 30% more power. which goes to show you, that the Black & Decker should have come out with a 2ah model instead of 1.5ah.
Personally, I recommend getting a used 12 volt Ryobi over this model from CPO outlet, when it goes on sale for around $20 or so. (Battery included)

Well there's some regulating circuitry in the battery casing right?
If not, then I would put this damn thing on a timer so that it doesn't charge over 90%. That way you would get more charges.
at least that's how it works on my $450 Chinese electric skateboard. So far I've gone1500 miles on it, has I am careful not to discharge below 30%, or charge over 90.
This provided it's the same lithium ion battery technology.
