All time low according to the three Cs. May be a little too late for some to use this spring but great deal for stocking up for late fall or very early spring application next year.

Also qualifies for 3$ digital credit for slow shipping.

This product has no fertilizer, it's best used before weeds germinate to kill existing seeds in lawn in very very early spring or late fall when weed seeds are in the lawn. I don't believe it kills growing weeds the way typical weed and feed products work, so depending on your area of the country, it would not be advantageous to use at this point in the year.

This is probably why the product has suddenly went on amazon clearance.
Use this to determine if it's too late to apply in your region:

Of course change the zip to your zip and make sure Crabgrass PRE is selected on the sidebar
Don't know about where you are, but here in North TX weather appears to be of late spring. 80s all week. Weeds already having a great time

There is no point in putting crabgrass preventer down in fall. It dies then anyway.

Suppose to apply around October and again early February in Virginia/NC/SC area. Weeds in the East Coast Central/South region grow in the winter and spring up strong in the early growing season.

I apply this when forsythias bloom but I still get some crab grass and lots of Japanese Stilt grass later in the season. Should I be applying this twice per season?

It's useful in the late summer/early fall if you have some annual bluegrass (poa annua) you don't want to germinate.

$11.89 for the 5k bag is pretty good for this time of year. That being said, I found the 15k bag on clearance at Walmart for $17 last August.
