Got in on this last round plus 6% CB (3% TCB + 3% CC). Some debate around tech specifics and performance implications, but adequate for TYPICAL consumer's COMMON-CASE needs. If you really have high-use, high-performance need, you should probably do some product research before you buy anyway. Summary: not as good as WD, still a good value for dollar.

might be useful for some, but you can pay an extra +$10 (so $55 instead of $45) if you needed a 2TB portable hdd with hardware AES-256 encryption chip
