Fyi, Bloomingdales raised the price from $300 to $330. I was able to purchase this a month and a half ago when bloomingdales had 15% off kitchen promo for $255, not to mention using CB sites.
Seems like a pretty good deal if you need something like this. I'm on the fence, but am gonna hold off cause I'm trying not to eat like a fatty at the moment and this won't help lol
IMO, places like Blaze Pizza are pretty good in terms of quality and unlimited topping selection. Costs about $10 a pie (personal). Great value IMO.
Does it still make sense to spend ~ $300 on an oven that only makes pizzas? I suppose it would be a hit item if you throw a lot of backyard parties.. but at what point (how many pizzas made) do you break even after buying all the ingredients.
PS: I forgot about families with kids, each wanting their own personal pizza. In which case, there is value to it. I guess I was looking at it from a single pizza use.
We have one of these and it's fantastic but definitely not for parties. It's great for making 2-3 pizzas but a nightmare to keep up with if you're making more. You'll want a log burning pizza oven for parties.

I just got the Pro a couple weeks ago. I do more than just pizza on it. I use cast iron pans and have done steaks, veggies, potatoes. My wife likes her own pizza so we use it for multiple pies.

my guess is covid-19 will make fresh neapolitan pizzas hard to come by for a while. plus, to add a data point, a friend of mine has a pizza oven (full size hand built brick) and frequently churns out a dozen or more pizzas in a night for get-togethers. it's a great way to empty the fridge of random things.
I got the "Ooni Koda Pizza Oven Bundle" which included a carrying case and a peel for $229.50 before tax on black friday 2019 and another 10% from raktuen bates.
The stone arrived broken in the box. Sent ooni a support ticket about this. Once i was able to show proof of purchase, they send a brand one stone to me within 2 days. great support from ooni.
