First the good- the overall image quality of this monitor is quite good. The colors are great, and on my panel at least, the color uniformity is acceptable. The response time/input lag seems to be quite good as well. Finally, the overall feel/polish of the monitor/bezel is quite nice (though the stand is pretty flimsy.. not a problem for me as I am using a VESA arm).
Now on to the not so good-
1) You are truly playing the panel lottery with these. I had to RMA my first monitor- its color uniformity was EXCELLENT, but the top 6-8 rows of pixels would disappear if you sat with your eyes level to the middle/top third of the screen. If you moved your head up to be level with the top of the screen, the pixels would re-appear. This made the menu bar on my OS X machine truncated. On my second monitor, only the top 1-2 rows of pixels exhibited this behavior (not good, but tolerable I guess), however the color uniformity wasn't nearly as good (though just tolerable for a $400 4k monitor). Additionally, my second monitor has now developed a stuck green pixel just off center. I'd rather the monitor be $100, and have monoprice do some better QC on the panels they put in them.
2) The big issue- the controls and firmware for this monitor are bar-none, the worst I have EVER experienced for a monitor. The completely unintuitive joystick nub is just the start (and covered by other reviewers). Don't expect to reliably use this monitor with multiple inputs. Unless both inputs/machines are outputting a video signal, it will instantly swap back to the active signal. Example- currently on machine 1. Machine 2 is asleep. If I don't wake machine 2 up BEFORE switching inputs, it will instantly switch back to input 1. Or, if I am trying to boot machine 2 (say I want to get to the bios) I need to boot it, mash the DEL key, then switch inputs and HOPE I did it in time to get a video signal, otherwise it will switch back to input 1. Monoprice- IF I MANUALLY SWITCH INPUTS, I DONT WANT THE MONITOR TO CHANGE BACK TO THE OTHER INPUT ON ME, EVEN IF IT IS NOT CURRENTLY OUTPUTTING A VIDEO SIGNAL! Additionally, if you change settings for color, etc.. it will save your changes... sometimes. Other times it disregards those settings as soon as the input changes or the monitor is turned off. Finally, sometimes the monitor will just go black on me while using it, the power LED turns red, and the monitor can not be switched back on until I unplug it. These terrible firmware issues were present on both my RMAd monitor and the replacement.

Some back-light bleeding, but that is to be expected for IPS. The colors are rich and, via DP, support 10-bit color / 4:4:4 / 60Hz @ 4K.
I play DooM (2016) and do not sense any lag, but am not a competitive gamer.
HDR/WCG gaming is a bit off, as colors look very washed out.
The only annoyance is they will go black every once in a while and come back, like they lose sync with the computer for an instance. The effect is like the monitors going to sleep, then coming back.
Photoshop even doesn't need 10bit because it has an internal color engine which does dithering.
Only people who don't know what 10bit does complain about not having it, because not only is it not necessary, it's not even widely functional, EVEN on $5000 LG Oleds, the 10bit is finicky.
