Con Air is $9.99 on Vudu https://www.vudu.com/content/movi...-Air/12599 and Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Air-Nicola...400&sr=8-1. Con Air is a Touchstone Pictures release distributed by Buena Vista so it is NORMALLY $17.99 for HDX. Con Air is Movies Anywhere (MA) compatible. If you have no rush credits on Amazon, this could be a great deal on this digital HDX movie.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

From what I know...

the one Blu-Ray release of this (United States) does not include a digital code, and being a Disney/Buena Vista title, $9.99 is a very good price.

I mean, it sucks that we have to say $9.99 is a good price for a 23 year old digital copy of a movie, but yep.

iTunes went down to $7.99 briefly, but if you want to own this movie digitally, $9.99 is a good price compared to the price it is most of the time, $17.99.

Sure, you can get other digital movies MUCH cheaper...but is it about buying a cheap movie because it is cheap, or buying a movie to own that you love? I'm sure you could get a real good price on 'Book Club' or 'Transfomers The Last Knight'.

This isn't some great must have movie. This is a 23 year old movie that is cheesy but good. It is not a classic or a vault movie. $9.99 is not a deal no matter how much you like Nic Cage.

I'm not going to say Con Air is The Godfather, or even The Matrix...it's not a "must own" for everyone's collection, but if it's a movie that someone really does enjoy rewatching enough to include in their digital library (which given it's popularity I think is a good number of folks), then the options are either paying $17.99 normally, or catch a deal on Disney/Buena Vista titles like this once a year. You can't even buy codes off of code resellers, as none were released with the discs.

I think there is actually a broader Disney/Buena Vista sale going on, with Crimson Tide down to $9.99 at Vudu. Not a movie I'd buy for $9.99, but if you really dig sub movies, that's a "good" price to jump on.

Yes, D/BV titles are overpriced, but again, if it's what you want, it's a deal when they are down to $9.99.

Slickdealers seem to agree that for a 23 year old 6 out of 10 movie this is a thumbs down deal.
