Literally the last thing I did before I sat down and opened slick deals was look at my screen door and say " I wonder how much it would be to repair or replace this." Then I see this post. Thanks OP.

Good timing! Smilie I'm not usually that lucky. I can find most anything I want on SD, but not necessarily at the time I actually need it. Glad to help.

My stupid German Shepard/Rottie mix runs through the screen at least once a summer, and my drunk ass is good for about half that. For 20 bucks it's easier than resplining it. In for 2 of the cheapos.
Get boat magnets and put at eye level to stop them from running through it

Its adjustable... check the installation video to see if it'll work for you.
Are both adjustable? I need 77.5". The steel says it is adjustable to 77.25", but the aluminum does not.

In for a bronze steel one. Was about to pull the trigger on a white version until I realized the outside of my doors aren't white but painted black. Oops.

Secure it to the roof. Use a blanket of between this and the roof so it doesn't scratch. Lowe's and HD typically have free twine and plastic wrap to help customers secure items to their vehicle.

Aluminum worth the extra?
If you live anywhere in the northern 2/3 of the country, then yes.

I'm the poster child for cheapskate. However, I went for the aluminum, rather than the steel. I'm hoping that it will be more durable and I really don't want to have to wonder how long until the steel starts showing rust.
I think that the steel one is adjustable.
The word 'durable' can mean many different things. 999 out of 1000 times a screen door needs to be replaced, it's not due to the frame getting damaged but rather the screen. That said, Steel frames are stronger, but aluminum frames don't rust.

I bought the 36" version last weekend and ended up returning it. Spend a little more and buy the heavy duty version that's also on clearance.
