This is two packs zwave powerstrip. Sounds a good price. To my surprise, I received two big boxes from two separate two orders. It includes powernode 6 x 2 ( need parent and child device handle for smartthings). Powernode single x 2 (recongnized as Zwave relay in smartthings), Greenwave gateway ( hub) x 1, Energy display meter x 1. No instruction manual inside the box, You can search and download greenwave_user_guide. Your order is YMMV. I can not guarrantee you will receive a full set box like me. You might just receive a dual pack power strip. Still a good deal. Take your chance if you want to order it. If you receive a 7.7 lbs fedex package, you probably receive the full set.

So this is a 6-port power strip (x2 actually) that has 6 individually controlled outlets that will show up on your Z-Wave controller as 6 separate devices you can manage?

Yes, you need child device handle for smartthings . Exclude the device before you add on your smartthings. Or, use the green wave hub, I don't install green wave hub.

The review on monoprice ( https://www.monoprice.com/product...reviewsTab ) appears to confirm it is a full set even when bought directly from monoprice.

The review states you must first unpair from the included hub, then you can pair with SmartThings. With no custom device handler, it is on/off for all 6 ports at once. With the custom device handler, you get 6 individual on/off and one master on/off.

I'm taking the gamble on this one.

I'm not using SmartThings. I just need to know if each strip shows up as 6 separate Z-Wave devices on a typical Z-Wave controller.

I bought a single one of these late last year, a NP222-B. Got it setup in home assistant for basic controls okay, but power metering was terrible. I had to set something up to poll it for values. Also it was just physically hard to unplug stuff. I emailed monoprice about it and they gave me my money back. If you don't need power monitoring it'll probably be fine.

Seems like great price for the features, but steep/advanced setup.

If you're advanced Z-wave smart home use I'd say no brainer.
For the casual smart device user this might be more headache than it's worth.

I don't think the smart outlets are that useful honestly.

What are y'all using this for?

I have one of these. It gets hot under zero load. The color wheel can disable features so you need to tape that up, and I never got power monitoring to work under homeseer.

700v clamping voltage is too high for sensitive electronics.

I use one to control 2 of my indoor garden lights and a whole automatic set of IFFF sockets for 2 fish tanks- one salt and one fresh.

Not deal crapping by any means since these are so cheap but they don't appear to be UL listed or z wave +.
