The WiFi Enabled and Winix Smart App compatible Winix C545 Air Purifier is designed for any home environment and ready to capture Dust, Pollen, Pet Dander, Smoke, Mold Spores, Volatile Organic Compounds, and Household Odors.
Includes a 1-Year Manufacturer Warranty.
This also matches the previous Frontpage deal from March. -Corwin
Oddball filters - different than the other Winix units - nobody, including Winix seems to have them anymore
In the Box:
Winix C545 True HEPA Air Cleaner with PlasmaWave Technology, WiFi Enabled Includes:
1 - Winix C545 True HEPA Air Cleaner, WiFi Enabled
1 - True HEPA Filter (New)
4 - Odor Control Carbon Filters (New)
Use a vacuum hose to gently clean the front of each filter every month or much sooner, depending on the amount of dust monitored weekly. Will make your filters last for a year or two.
I did post about C545 filters about a week ago...it didnt gain much traction probably because Costco had them on sale for $30 couple weeks ago or people didn't know how these filters don't stay in stock for long. They do go in and out of stock. it seems Costco and Winix were the only 2 places I could find them.
There not many alternatives besides the genuine Winix filters for the C545 so that might be a deal breaker for most.
The C545 is great though I haven't had any wifi issues like many people say they have. just make sure you connect it to 2.4ghz.

I don't suppose you know one Winix or other that has readily available generic filters? I know the older version of this was one that people bought for that reason but I'm not sure if you can find them new anymore.
I was just typing in my credit card info when somehow i went back to look at previous threads for reviews and saw the comment about the filters. I'm not going to buy the 2 that i was going to purchase and I am thankful that i read about it before buying.
Out of stock (they only had 5), and not seeing any others show up in search.
I'm concerned about this model because it is not listed for sale as new on the winix website. I can only find it in the refurb section. Filters are also not in stock.

C5300-2 uses the Filter set A 115115. Genuines are available at amazon, and there are a million knockoffs on both amazon and ebay.
I would suggest that genuine is probably better. I'm currently using a knockoff filter from ebay, and the carbon prefilters are definitely not legit. They seem to just be black mesh that had been soaked in vinegar as a low cost substitution for carbon.
I bought a C535 from Wal-Mart on Rollback for $99 just a day or so ago. Thinking I might buy this and if it shows up in actual nearest 'New' condition, I can return the other from Wal-Mart.
Haven't looked too much into filter availability but was told people seemed to just buy aftermarket. For the price of the unit itself, it's not making me panic that much.

Will that filter works for C545 in this deal?
