The GPU isn't the greatest but the 8940hx is much more powerful than the MC deal by comparison. I suppose it's not the best for gaming but it's a much more powerful than the 225H or various AMD 350 CPUs seen in this type of build

Great screen?? Either you're joking or you're clueless.
This is bottom of the barrel display, 144Hz, 300-nits, 45% NTSC, commonly found on sub-$700-800 gaming laptops.

I see the good Dr upgraded his avatar to next level....

Well looking at this deal, not much of a deal I agree this should be the price for this item brand new and not open box. Also looking at the screen specs very meh for a 2k display. The only deal here is the CPU which probably will get throttled, I have not seen burn in tests to say for sure, and also the ram amount, outside of that everything else is meh.
