Need advice on an item I purchased but is stuck in mail system.

I purchased an item (nu-tropics) from a supplier a couple states away. This item usually only takes 2 to 3 days to arrive. The tracking number that I was given states
"April 9, 2020, 4:16 pm
Shipment Received, Package Acceptance Pending
WILSON, NC 27893
Your shipment was received at 4:16 pm on April 9, 2020 in WILSON, NC 27893. The acceptance of your package is pending.".
Its now 4/18/20 and the package still shows no movement and still states "Shipment Received, Package Acceptance Pending". I contacted the seller and got this response "Its the worldwide pandemic that's slowed down the shipment.. I've bought several things from other suppliers and even sold several things in this time frame and the tracking numbers all show normal movement and normal travel times. Should I be worried about not getting the package? And is there any steps I should be taking to have the postal service search for the package? Sorry for the spoon feeding request Its just that I'm at a lose of what steps should be taken. Thanks a ton in advance for any and all guidance.

I made a claim that was supposed to be resolved in 4 business days and is yet unresolved.
It has to be the virus causing the delay. Still updated communication is very important and something that is missing today.

Sounds shady as hell. I'd stop doing business with this dude ASAP.
My credit score is 846, they let me dispute anything.

I know when I sold on Amazon it was only usually one off's I picked up here or there to offset my out of pocket cost to keep another of the same item. So I would use the Ron Popeil method of selling (set it and forget it) rather than lowballing myself out of money to try and be the lowest priced seller.
So since my prices were typically higher than the rest of the people selling the items I didn't worry about making a sale. Though that bit me in the backside at least once or twice where I had to run out at the last minute to ship out an item that I was on the final day before it'd be considered 'late' getting shipped by Amazon.
