So I gave my payment info to Tidal, went through the coupon emails , and it still doesn't work. App wants $25/month to listen!!!!
Seems pretty shady.

EDIT: I finally got the app to work. I did it just to get access to some 360 music for my new Sony WH1000XM3's. From what I can see in here, there are only 28 songs in RA ?!?!?!?!?!
What a waste of my last hour. CANCEL.

EDIT2: OMG, I finally found the 360 section. There are way more than 28 songs. But now, is it really $25/month better than the normal music? I don't think so...

I've tried a few different email address and found that this promo won't work with Gmail addresses for some reason. It did work with outlook.com and yahoo.com addresses. Got email verification email immediately and then the coupon after clicking for both outlook and yahoo, but never for Gmail.

Never give payment info to tidal if you interested only in the trial. They will try and charge you though you cancelled your trial ahead. I got burnt in spite of best efforts.

I've had good luck using Paypal for TIDAL trials, just making sure to cancel the agreement on the Paypal side.

The reason to get tidal is to not have compressed music. If you don't know what mp3 compression sounds like you are wasting your money and I suggest NOT figuring it out. This is a case of ignorance is bliss. It's expensive but I pay it because I can tell a difference in audio quality

I've done two trials on tidal and haven't had any problems with cancellation. Not that I dont believe you, just providing an opposite experience.
