This ladder is awesome. Just picked it up for 99 dollars yesterday. I don't know why other folks think this ladder is heavy. Unless you are a petite 90lb female, you should easily be able to move this around. If not have your wife move it for you. I am around 5 6" 135, this ladder is light for me. Maybe lift some more weights?

You're directing your anger at the wrong person. Instead of blaming your fellow slickdealer why don't you direct blame at these "American" companies outsourcing production and the politicians that allow this to happen. Quite simply it's incredibly hard to buy anything that is not produced overseas and especially in china. It's not the consumers fault.

They do make nice ladders. They can be heavy though.

I have a 10 year old 22' and it's very unwieldy and heavy. I'd toss it and pick this one up, but 18' isn't tall enough for my roof. Frown
