I guess my question is, if I'm in Israel currently and using my friends PS4 - but my PSN/old PS+ account that I haven't really touched in a couple of years is obviously American - can I just buy this and (using a VPN if necessary...?) just go ahead and load it into my account and then I'll have PS+ for a year? If anyone knows, I'd greatly appreciate any feedback.
