If you're asking if it takes better video, then the answer is an overwhelming yes. You have the ability to shoot in 12 bit RAW at 6k, versus a compressed video format. Canon is no slouch to the video scene though, so the question should basically be what do you intend shooting and at what quality level is acceptable.
i did not know there are many professional filmmakers here
Oh man, the temptation!

Does this add much to the video experience with a 5D MK iii/iv?

Likely a price drop to compete with the newly announced Canon R5. No price for the Canon yet, but it is better in every way than a BMPCC 6K. It's got best in class autofocus, raw shooting at up to 8K30, "canon color" and it's also likely to be a good photo camera. The R5 will likely cost so much more than the Black Magic though.

Different tools, same reason you would use a knife, spoon or a screwdriver.
5D first and foremost is a professional photography camera that also shoots video.
Shooting in a controlled environment, with lenses, lights and crew you will get a better quality out of the Cinema Camera for video. Increased resolution , non compressed image and of course just a strong negative format you can do anything with it.
5D doing a photo shoot, wedding, documentary anything run n gun, very minimal light, simply the better tool with great quality as well.
The real question simply is, will you be doing photography work and off jobs or will you be working in a controlled "non timed" environment.
*Pocket Camera can be used run and gun as well, from my experience though I wouldn't use it for that or at least it wouldn't be the only camera I owned.

it's shot in Blackmagic RAW which is still technically *compressed* but visually lossless.
