Amazon has 2 pack Wyze cam at $42.66. I believe, this will be a bit better price than buying directly from Wyze, particularly with shipping. Plus, all the benefits of Amazon purchase.

    I was trying to wait for the Wyze Outdoor Cam release, but specs still seem questionable. I jumped on this to save some money over ordering directly from Wyze and get my fortress under full video surveillance sooner.

    ive used a V2 model outside now for 8 months without a problem, its covered in a housing but they are cheap enough to be throw aways if they dont work forever.

    I'm with you, I've bee holding out for the outdoor cam but being battery powered and not being able to capture footage 24/7 is not ideal for me. Also the v3 cam coming out has me skeptical of it's abilities to be mounted outdoors.

    I've had 4 outdoors in housings for close to a year with no problems, like you said there cheep, so what if you have to replace one.

    I've had 3 outdoors in no housings , but under roof awnings with no issue. Are people just trying to mount these on a flagpole where they'll be totally exposed ? Mine have seen 30 degrees to 100 degrees over the years. Amazing value prop.

    Better, if you value the two bulbs at >$8, due to the shipping charge from Wyze. I have been on the fence as to whether the bulbs are worthwhile.

    I have smart switches throughout my house. A WiFi bulb would not add value to me. If someone can make better use of those bulbs, IMO buying from Wyze is a better deal.
